We celebrated my mom’s birthday at Field House in Deerfield and it was honestly such a special experience from start to finish.

The atmosphere is beautiful—warm, inviting, and perfect for both an intimate family dinner or a bigger celebration. From the moment we walked in, the team made us feel so welcomed and taken care of, which made the night even more meaningful.

The food completely exceeded expectations. Everything we ordered was incredible—from the homemade cheese curds (a must!) to the nachos, and my personal favorite, the lobster gnocchi. The menu truly has something for everyone, and every dish felt thoughtfully prepared and full of flavor.

What really stood out was how accommodating and kind everyone was while we celebrated. They made my mom feel so special, and that’s something we’ll always remember.

“They always get my order right and are always on time with estimate pickup time. Their shakes are DELICIOUS - highly recommend. Especially the limted time flavors, I'd definitely get them before they are gone, still craving the s'mores shake! The sakes go great with their fries and a burger, the veggie burgers are very good too.“

The "black truffle" barrata is a ball of cheese on top of some stewed green vegetables. I detected no evidence of any truffles in the dish. No truffle aroma or flavor. Seafood pasta primavera was tasty with fresh seafood.“

“really good burger, and so fun seeing the train! this place is as classic as it gets, seemingly unchanged since it's opened. it's kinda small in there, so my adult bf and I ate quickly to free up room for actual families with kids 😆 but definitely recommend if you just love burgers and trains, plus it's in a cute walkable downtown area with free parking“

“I like to say “good food makes a soul happy”. When I'm having a tough day, nothing satisfies like good food. I ordered a double smashburger through Uber Eats, and it arrived warm with crispy fries. Everything was packed neatly, which made me excited to dig in. The burger was fantastic!! soft, perfectly seasoned, and the smash sauce was great! Unlike other places that over-salt their burgers, this one was spot on. I’ve found my new go-to spot. The fries were also a good portion. The rice bowl was a bit spicy for me, but still tasted good, the guy in the specs was doing everything at once, taking orders, packing, and answering calls and he was moving fast, so no complaints about the service. Overall, good food and a good experience.“

“Assalamualaikum everyone I must say they have best pizza in chicago. Every week I visit here with my friend and order dil khol pepperoni pizza.. The staff is very kind and friendly especially the long beard brother on front desk and the cheff. Now they know me and as a regular customer they make special one for me with extra cheese and bunch of extra pepperonis. And we eat in the parking lot while enjoying weather and fighting for that last piece.. thank you brothers for making us a best pizza and lot of memories too..“
