I recently tried the Chicken Chicago Shawarma at Krasa Craft Restaurant on Ashland Ave, and it completely blew me away. The chicken was juicy and perfectly seasoned, and the Ukrainian mayonnaise-based garlic sauce adds a rich, creamy flavor that makes this shawarma stand out from anything else in Chicago. The honey mustard, cheddar cheese, fresh tomatoes, pickles, and cabbage create the perfect balance of flavors and textures. Definitely one of the best shawarmas I’ve had!

We've been here twice and had burgers, both beef and veggie, and shawarma and everything is delicious! Their fries are always hot and so crispy and I love the decor inside. Such a unique and tasty spot in the area

KRASA Kraft Restaurant Des Plaines is a unique and tasty spot in the area. The food is absolutely delicious, and the design is very cool and unique. Everything is always clean, and the kitchen is top-notch. The decor inside is loved by many, and the hopscotch painted on the pavement at the entrance is clever. Don't miss the bath tub with gold fish! The staff was friendly and helpful.
The burgers, both beef and veggie, are delicious. The smash burger was one of the best burgers had in a long time. The fries are always hot and so crispy, and the fries are some of the best, especially mixed with the garlic sauce that you typically get at Middle Eastern restaurants. The shawarma is delicious. The spicy chicken was a generous portion burrito like meal, juicy and tender with lots of flavor, not over spicy. Lots of eastern European drink choices. Little pricey but eating out is a treat. The burger and shawarma were absolutely delicious with super friendly service. Keep up the great work!
