“They have a really great variety of green juices here 🥬🍏✨, which makes it easy to find something fresh and healthy no matter what you’re in the mood for. I especially tried the “Everyday Greens,” and it turned out to be surprisingly delicious 😋💚. It had a nice balance of flavors-fresh, light, and not overly bitter like some green juices can be.

Kids meals are free with adult purchase & the portions of my son’s teddy bear pancakes were huge! Actually portions of everything is huge. “I have been a patient at a re hab center nearby for 3 weeks.Tempting me with different foods so I would eat better, she brought me a half of a turkey sandwich and supposedly a cup of vegetable soup.

I think the soup was a pint, it was fabulous, all veggies were cooked perfectly. When she pulled out the turkey sandwich without unwrapping it I thought by the Wieght I thought she got me a full one. I don't know how they make money. She was bringing them almost every day. I'm leaving here tomorrow and am really going to miss their food. I wish they really had one by where I live.“

The owners take pride in managing the restaurant on a daily basis. They prioritize customer service, great food, and a warm, welcoming experience. Last night, they hosted the Highland Park/Highwood Professional Moms group. We had only expected 15 women to attend, but 25 women ended up coming. The owners and the staff were AMAZING. They brought over additional chairs. They provided us with top-notch service, including separate checks. They respected us when we were speaking to the group and quietly took orders in the background. I can't say enough nice things about this restaurant.“

“We had a wonderful dinner at Prairie Grass Cafe. The spring rolls were loaded with delicious perfectly cooked shrimp and the accompanying sauce (sweet chili with garlic and cilantro) plays nicely with them. The flounder with roasted carrots and parsnip-potato purée was as delicious as it looks. It was generously portioned and beautifully plated. We also enjoyed the mussels with parsley, shallots, and breadcrumbs pasta. My husband is Sicilian and it reminded us of the pasta con le sarde that we love to have in Sicily. The mussels were plump and delicious. The wine list is very nice. We found wines we really enjoyed and they were reasonably priced. We enjoyed the Attems, Pinot Grigio, Friuli, Italy ‘22 with our mussels and flounder, and the Fritz Haag, Riesling, Germany ‘21 with our pumpkin pie for dessert. Service was perfect.“

Very good executive the flavors and the pasta for my main entrée. I order a classic dish Zappa di mare with a spicy light spicy tomato sauce, calamari, scallops, shrimp muscles and clamps flavor was excellent garlic and very soupy very good Cook pasta linguine delicious flavors was all of the combine and a very good thick and soupy sauce and the pasta. They’re definitely in June. Going to love it to even and the end of the pasta eating the sauce like it was a chicken stock. That was the good sauce was the pasta for finish we get the crème brûlée homemade crème brûlée. They were very delicious crème brûlée and we get a pistachio ricotta cake that was very moist flavorful and very good portion. After have a very good successful meal the cake coming to put the cherry in the top to finish with excellent flavor and delicious mine and your brains they definitely you wanna come back and enjoy again, different dishes, different style and very good Italian food“

As someone who loves coffee, I still don't understand how their coffee tastes so good. Their plain, black coffee and Americanos taste out of this world. Some of the best coffee if not the best I've ever had. The food is always fresh, tastes/seems made to order, and again the coffee is amazing. A friend who doesn't drink caffeine loves their decaf, and as someone who doesn't drink decaf, even I like their decaf.“

“My husband and I are visiting from Arizona and were meeting some friends in The Glen. We planned on going to The Yardhouse, but thought it was too noisy. Saw the reviews for The Oak and we were so glad we did. The burger I had was the best burger I have ever had, our friend felt the same. My husband and our other friend had the rueben, they loved them also. We left the restaurant and we were going to take individual pics, then this really nice guy offered to take a picture of all of us. He was so very nice. Guess what, he was the owner.
