“We visited this amazing establishment last night and ordered the filet and the Manhattan strip for our entrées with a side of the mushrooms, and it was possibly one of the best steaks we had had. Our server and Jesse was wonderful, and when he wasn’t available home, there was another manager who came and brought items out, so there was no delay in service while he was attending another customer and socialized at the table. We dined outside on the patio underneath the heat lamp and lights. The Barn was the perfect atmosphere for our relaxing evening together. We were very pleased with all that we ordered as well as the service. We would highly recommend the Barn restaurant to others.”

My only quibble is the inflexibility with the vegetarian sandwiches in their refrigerator – – the staff would not make me a fresh sandwich. But this is a minor quibble. I really do recommend them without reservation.”

The Tamago and Inari, which are types of sushi that are deceptively simple seeming but really show a chef's knowledge and artistry, were excellent. I'm sure I will go again.”

ALL of them. Little Island stands right up there. What they do have that is the best in Cook County are their fries. Best ever. They don't travel well, so have them there. Grilled polish is outstanding. And NEVER, EVER, EVER order a dog or a Polishj with anything red - ketchup OR tomato. Two stars for atmosphere - if that's important to you, go to Portillo's.”

“Ok, if you go around this area and look for McDonald's, you're not going to find one very few are north. If any, I don't think there is any. Norf and east of here, until you get to 5 miles northwest on Green Bay road, and I think this place closes at 8 PM or something. I've never ever seen it open at night. So because of that, it makes this location. The absolute busiest McDonald's at night, time and after 10 PM on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays just don't go there until it's not Friday night. It's not Saturday night. And it's not Sunday night. I'm not joking about this. If you're going there, you might as well get some food from like Duncan donuts across the street, like a coffee. While you wait for your food, otherwise you're gonna get so pissed off. And food hangry that the whole experience is going to be like I'll never go there again. But then you can't say that. Because it's McDonald's right and you're gonna go there because why there is no other McDonald's closest closer to you. If you live north straight up north all the way to pass bolmette, and all the way to the east of this location, if you want to go to any other mcdonald's, you're going to be going south”

“I came on opening weekend, the staff was exteemely friendly and the Ice cream was AMAZING! I was surprised by the large flavor selection and the dairy free offerings. My favorite flavor is mint chocolate chip, they offered it in both dairy free and regular! I personally love the cute waffle cookie that came with my dish. This will be a regular spot for me and my family!”

“Ordered their happy hour combo of 2 Chicago hot dogs and small fries for 7$ which is a great value for money deal. The Chicago dogs were wonderfully overloaded with condiments just as you'd expect. The pickle and relish were especially good. The sausage itself was a bit underwhelming but the amazing condiments made sure the hotdog served as a filling and tasty meal.
Maybe it was because the order had been waiting for a while but the fries were soggy and a bit too salty for my liking. I honestly would just skip the fries next time.”

Food Quality: 5 / 5 — The Pesto Chicken Pizzetta with Goat Cheese was the absolute star of the meal with its flaky pastry crust, grilled chicken, roasted peppers, pesto, and melted mozzarella. The turkey sandwich with avocado, tomato, mixed greens, and honey mustard on a baguette was exceptionally fresh and delicious.

I'm not quite sure on certain Fridays and Saturdays, especially during holidays circum holidays. They are quite busy at night. I'm say around midnight. But most days they are fine”
