best service! And delicious chocolate pie!
The pies are good. wasn't to crazy about the coffee. And how well I know my coffee. My girlfriend and I love the outside atmosphere of this place. I would say I like sitting out on their patio on a warm day watching all the social interaction. And the train passing by. Staff is polite. The chicken pot pie is quite tasty loved the crust. The place is super clean. I give them an overall 7.
So many pies - savory and sweet. They don’t have slices on display but you can look via the menu what they offer, which is a lot of options! Had strawberry and banana pie which I really loved. Space with crowded on a weekday but interiors has high ceilings so does feel spacious. Service wasn’t great but very neutral and to the point.

The coffee is spectacular, and the latte is wonderful. The staff is kind, patient, and friendly. Whether for a showstopping pie for a special event or incredible comfort food, Hoosier Mama is always the right choice. It is constantly packed, so it is not the best place to work, but it is a MUST stop for dessert pie, meat pie, or any pie.
