I've been going to Sarkis since it was called, "Sarkis my friend." This is more or less a historical site at this point. But the management still keeps it true to Sarkis's word. You'll find the best breakfast in the entire Chicago area here.Some of the guys working here have even come from the time Sarkis was around.I love this restaurant. It feels like home. I can't recommend it enough. From the delicious fluffy pancakes, to "The DISASTER" this place has something for everyone.
This is a classic northshore staple. I have been here several times over the past 20 years and it never disappoints. Its under different management than it was years ago, so there have been some upgrades, but I believe it is still cash only. Its a small diner/cafe that mainly serves breakfast options.
