“We visited this amazing establishment last night and ordered the filet and the Manhattan strip for our entrées with a side of the mushrooms, and it was possibly one of the best steaks we had had. Our server and Jesse was wonderful, and when he wasn’t available home, there was another manager who came and brought items out, so there was no delay in service while he was attending another customer and socialized at the table. We dined outside on the patio underneath the heat lamp and lights. The Barn was the perfect atmosphere for our relaxing evening together. We were very pleased with all that we ordered as well as the service. We would highly recommend the Barn restaurant to others.“

“This restaurant is really outstanding and really great for the image of Evanston's southern end. The food is fantastic and I very much enjoy everything from the Bacon Temptation Omelette to the Spicy Poblano Omelette to the Crispy Chicken Sandwich to the Cowboy Burger. All of the food is fabulous and very well prepared, the variety is wonderful, and the coffee is always fresh. And above all, Ivan and the waitstaff provide customer service that's 'above and beyond' in every way. They're very kind, compassionate, efficient, and accomodating to everybody who comes into the establishment. Keep up the great work!“

Nevertheless, we sent a blind inquiry looking for information on a performer who appeared at Found Kitchen 3 years ago. Our inquiry is never going to make any money for Amy, we know that and she knows that. Altho she could have blown off our request, she had her staff reach out to us the next day with all of the contact info we possibly could need....because she's an awesome business person and a great restaurenteur! Every restaurant comes up short on the quality of an entree from time to time, water glasses might not get refilled as rapidly as a Yelp reviewer might want......it happens. “I love your food, I grew up in Evanston Illinois eating at this restaurant over the years of me living in Evanston Illinois, you have some very good chicken and French fries, and I love your good taste of food, every time I come here I’m always happy and satisfied, with my order each and every time! And every time I order im always hungry for more, great food, great service and great taste of food.“

“Good burgers and fries, a nice variety of daily specials. Quick service for pickup orders. Not a fan of their pizza, but that's just me. Not cheap but also relatively in line for the neighborhood. Good atmosphere for dining in to watch a game on plentiful TVs or have a conversation.“

“I don't know why my five-star review keeps getting deleted, but steak 'n shake remains the premiere and absolute best value fast food Burger you can get in America. Big Macs are $6, why pay for that when the burgers here are also $6 and cooked with beef Tallow, and grass-fed beef? It's literally highway robbery! Keep this place alive!
