“I love Lola's Diner! The price of the food is absolutely amazing especially for how huge the portions are. The food always tasted great as well. There are also a bunch of options and they're very open to supplementing foods. The diner itself looks super cute, it has a retro old diner look to it with teal booths and chairs, just a nice environment overall. The service is great, the waiters and waitresses are always kind and quick, especially Jose! The food also doesn't take a long time to come out even when every table is full and they're super busy!“
“We stopped here for lunch on the way to the airport. We ate really well, the place was empty and we had great service. The bill was a nice surprise, we spent less than many other restaurants where we ate worse! Recommended, the large parking in front is also convenientWheelchair accessibility: Both the entrance and the bathrooms are easily accessible“
“Service was great and food was amazing. I don't often like/get blue cheese with my hot wings but this was the first time I got it and enjoyed it! Also, the grilled cheese and tomato soup will now be my go to ALL the time. First time in but I will DEFINITELY be going back.“
“Super chill place to eat and the food was great!!! Had been cruising for a place to eat and happened to stumble on this gem! There is a sit-down bar, tables, and booths. The server was beyond chill and super helpful. Asked for suggestions, and he gave us great suggestions. We got the Cesar's salad, wings, pop corn chicken, and a 10' Chicago style pizza!!! The food was prepared perfectly. The salad was delish, the popcorn chicken was awesome, and the pizza was a homerun! My new spot when I come to Chi Town!!!! It's what a small restaurant is supposed to be!!!“
“What a great new breakfast spot! It’s huge so quick seating, the portions were gigantic and the servers were so friendly and attentive. Easily could have split an entree. Great value for the money- will definitely be back soon with our kids!“
“Went for an early Valentines celebration! Celebrated with the King crab leg special-amazing!!! My husband had the white fish and was also VERY satisfied. Our cocktails, salad, meals, and desserts were all so delicious! Can't wait to see what kind of special comes next.“
“Get their Two-n-Two, with both grilled and raw onions. It was the perfect amount of food with the fries & the sandlot spread (which was amazing and I recommend getting it even though it’s 79 cents extra charge, it’s a must). The fries were nice and crispy and having a root beer float on the side, was a nice touch. It was also MASSIVE, so definitely worth the money, wish it had more root beer though. The space itself was small, but you know locals come here to eat a good burger all the time. A little outdated with the space but it wasn’t a deal breaker!Definitely will come again to eat their burgers!“
“The first time we stopped in they were out of almost everything except sausage. Not a great first impression and we left to find something else to eat.I was determined to get some barbecue though so we tried again. On the second visit we shared the Judge's Sampler. The chicken had a nice sweet sauce. Pulled pork was nicely cooked with a good bark. She loved the brisket, I liked it okay. The ribs were meaty and had a fantastic bark. I loved them but she wasn't as impressed because of a piece of gristle. Picky. The tater salad was pretty good and the collard greens were delicious and perfectly seasoned. They even made me homesick for the south. The cornbread was bland but perfectly baked. The place is bright and open and everyone is friendly. The tables were sticky though and she found some silverware that was still greasy. Some of the food was hot and some of it was cold, like it wasn't all cooked at the same time.Five stars for the meats, six stars for the ribs. Ten stars for the greens. Minus points for the sticky tables and dirty silverware. Another minus for not having any hot sauce on the tables. What kind of self-respecting BBQ joint doesn't have Crystal or Tabasco on the tables? A great one has both, plus a bottle of pepper sauce.“
“This place has a cool, hip vibe and it’s fun to eat at the communal tables. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Great variety of beer and creative craft cocktails. Food is beautifully plated and delicious - make sure to try the potatoes, baby gem salad and hanger steak.“
“I had another fantastic experience here. Every dish was delicious, and Emily provided exceptional service. The drinks were truly phenomenal. Overall, my experience at this place is consistently excellent. The music adds to the enjoyable atmosphere, and the service is always top-notch.“
“Went here for Burnch on a Sunday. It is first come first serve so had to wait a little over an hour. Roamed a bit around the neighborhood as every area of the city has its own charm.Plenty of street parking or can always park in the near by garage.Ordered the classic lulu breakfast burrito, chickpea and fennel tagine and a smoked trout scramble. I would say the Chickpea and fennel tagine was awesome and a must on every visit.Parking: Parking spots near by and then paid garage couple of blocks awayKid-friendliness: Yes great with kids“
“I haven’t been impressed with Italian food here in Chicago until now. This place is seriously good. The appetizers recommended by our server were outstanding. Superb flavors. Handmade pasta dishes were very, very good. The final course of pork collar was phenomenal. I would definitely recommend this place over others.“
“We loved our experience at Giant! We’ve been wanting to eat here for a while and thought what better time than to go out for my birthday. My wife and I can’t say enough great things about the food, our server Bailey and the whole experience. Bailey was the best server ever! We love her and will definitely be back.“
“Eden, located in Chicago, provided a delightful dining experience for my first visit. Arriving late allowed us to secure a table swiftly. I indulged in a couple of dirty martinis to kickstart the evening, accompanied by the exquisite wagyu tartare, which left my taste buds thoroughly satisfied. For the main course, I opted for the crab bucatini, savoring each delectable bite, while my companion thoroughly enjoyed the flavorful chicken dish. The service was exemplary, and the restaurant exuded cleanliness, with the added luxury of real hand towels in the bathrooms, a detail not often found. The ambiance, with its well-thought-out lighting and decor, further elevated the experience. Overall, Eden offered a memorable dining venture, leaving me eager to return for another culinary adventure.“
“Worth the wait and must try! Beautiful and unique venue in the unassuming town of Des Plaines. Our server was kind and welcoming, food was delicious, drinks were fun and tasty. The only two items that were less than ideal, the horrible acoustics (incredibly loud) and although it was too on my list to try, the chicken shawarma rolls were underwhelming. Even with those two items, the great service and food quality it's still worth the 5 star review. We sat upstairs, which very much appreciated, being out of the hustle and bustle of the downstairs. Looking forward to trying the brunch and the outside patio... overlooking the water.“
“A not so hidden gem as of late now that reviews are catching up with the imaginative menu and exceptional dining experience Community Tavern has been consistently providing over the past several years. Menu is full of unique dishes… elevated dumpling and noodles are a signature. Beautifully plated and generous- but not overly. Cocktail menu is fun, with zero proof options that are spot on. Save room for baked Alaska. Oh, and ambiance is chic but allows the focus to be where it belongs. On the food. Upscale West Loop experience in modest Portage Park for a lot less and no pretense.“
“Always incredible - one of the best breakfast sandwiches in the city (I get the pablano/veggie and add sausage ? - which was a staff suggestion). Everyone who works there is friendly and engaging! If they had a yearbook, I would write, "have a cool summer - don't ever change".“
“TL;DR - If you’re even slightly thinking about coming here, just do it. Revolution has the best beer in the city, fantastic food, and incredible staff.A lot of breweries in Chicago excel in making their one or two specialty styles of beer, and that’s it. Revolution, on the other hand, is able to guarantee high quality and incredibly drinkable beer across just about every style you can think of. I normally hate those dark, boozy, 15+% ABV beers, yet I drink every single one that Rev puts out and I love it. Their “Hero”-series IPAs will make even the biggest IPA hater second guess their hatred. And their sours (usually released during the summer) are so good, you will question how something this good can be alcoholic. Revolution doesn’t put out a beer that isn’t incredible, so you can pick a beer at random and be sure to enjoy it.Recently, the Brewpub renovated their space and, with it, re-did a lot of their menu. The space is cozy, yet upscale (the seating is significantly comfier than it once was with new plush seating). The new food is also really high quality - much higher than you would expect from a brewery. A lot of detail is put into plating and presentation (Mushrooms & Tofu, for example, looks like a piece of art), and still it tastes somehow even better than it looks. In addition to more upscale menu items, you’re also able to get a lot of that “typical” bar food here that fully delivers (pretzel, cheese curds, fries, etc.). The only gripe I could possibly have here is on the pricing of some of the food. This does not apply to the whole menu though, just some items that feel like they are priced higher than they should be (e.g. Lion’s Mane mushrooms, a starter, costs the same as the Mushrooms & Tofu, an entree, despite being significantly less food and sharing some similar ingredients. Why?!). If you can view this less as a bar and more like a nicer restaurant (which, with the renovation completed, is easy to do), then the pricing is a lot more palatable. The ambiance, food, and drinks are all great, but it’s the staff at Revolution that keeps me coming back though. They’re all so friendly, personable, passionate, and professional - they are the kind of people that make your night out feel special. My fiancé and I have celebrated birthdays, engagements, job offers, anniversaries, and so much more here because of how wonderful the staff are in celebrating and creating such a fun environment to be in. They make Revolution a place we want to go whenever we want to have a good time out. There are just too many people to name (Magnolia, Drake, Erwin, Makenna, Amy, Matt, just to name a few) - but rest assured that we love just about everyone who has served us here. So much so, that my fiancé and I are getting married here later this year! This is the easiest 5 stars I have ever handed out. I have so little to say about places that are “meh”, so the length of this review should show how much I love it here. I’ve come here at least every week for the last 2+ years, and I don’t have any intention of slowing down anytime soon. If you’re still reading this, please stop reading and start drinking, and do it at the Brewpub! You won’t regret it!Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian and vegan options here. Standouts include the veggie burger (vegan by default), Mushrooms & Tofu (vegan), and a delicious pretzel with beer cheese (vegetarian and oh so good).“
“I recommend this Denys, the attention received by Sandy is very cordial, a kind, friendly person, she is always aware of what we need and what we order, she tries to ensure that we are given the best attention that the food arrives hot and that it is what we One ordered correctly, Sandy is a person who always has a smile for us, she gives her best, she makes us feel like we are with family, her kindness makes us return to this same restaurant. I recommend her, a very good person, her contagious smile, it makes her happy. the day to anyone“
“Delicious food and excellent service! FRY CHICKEN ‘N FRIES catered our wedding, and their flavorful chicken and crispy fries were a crowd favorite. Guests couldn't stop complimenting the meal. Thank you for making our special day even more memorable!“
“I went today…I did not get the name of the person who attended us. I believe he is the owner, he is very nice and welcoming. The chefs are kind with good vibes too. Overall Good vibes. The chicken is not dry, and the friendly fire fries are very well served and delicious. I know a lot of food places get promoted in the city, but I am happy to know that there is a good chicken place here in Forest Park, IL. The food is well priced, and not expensive. To anyone who wants a delicious chicken sandwich and amazing fries please go here. - Ramiro“
“We've eaten there 3 or 4 times now, each time delicious food and very nice service. We were able to sit and chat without worrying about taking up table for too long. When offered a coffee refill we were leaving and I asked if I could have refill in a to-go cup, request received with a smile. Looking forward to our next visit!“
“This was our first time in as we just moved to the neighborhood and we loved it! We had come from dinner but decided we wanted some snacks. We had the fried pickles, pretzels, & ice cream with churros-- I was surprised but oh so happy they had some kind of dessert. The bartender was a super nice guy-- very friendly. He checked on us often and never left us waiting for anything. The interior was really cute and about what you expect for a corner/ neighborhood bar. We will for sure be back-- so glad we gave it a try!“
“A latin style brunch place with delicious food. Chilaquiles are spicy, hearty. The rice and black beans are good, also different compared to most Mexican restaurants. The maduros and orange slice cuts are notable and unique. Also, don't confuse the leafs 'veins' for a hair, as I freaked out pulling one from the eggs. Restaurant decor is modern, food was ready quick, and the server was nice This place also serves pumpkin spice coffee year round.“
“I went to Mother's Ruin with a group of my coworkers, and Keith the bartender took the best care of us. He really made all of our nights special. I have also gone to Mother's Ruin for my birthday and graduation, and each time the service is always spectacular. I can't recommend this place enough! I highly recommend the nachos, and the specialty cocktails they have are all delicious.“
“I rarely write reviews but after our meal from Cluckers, I felt I must. Our first time getting food from Cluckers/Wilmette and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The first impression was the very friendly and efficient staff. Lovely to deal with! Then the meal...no fast food flavors here, it tasted more like homemade! Every aspect of our dinner was delicious: chicken, cornbread muffins, slaw and Caesar salad. No doubt we will be back to try something else!“
“Absolute banger. The Italian ice was to die for, the watermelon one was so good it made crave more by the end of it.The beef was perfectly wet and the peppers were just right. The only reason I didn’t make it five stars was that the beef was missing cheese. If that was on it, it would’ve been perfect.“
“The first thing that I noticed about Amerikas was the super lively and bright ambiance. I went I on a Saturday night with my wife, so I wasn't surprised by all of the people dining and having a good time, and as I ate my dinner I definitely learned why. The decor is bright and fun. The walls are lined by mutuals, mostly yellow, with big splashes of color. I liked how then kept the lights on to keep the atmosphere bright and fun. The food was delicious too. My wife and ordered the pulpo, barbacoa, tacos (shrimp and pork shoulder), tostada de pescado, ceviche and the dragon fruit cheesecake for dessert. I enjoyed all of the dishes, my favorites were the barbacoa and the pulpo. The barbacoa was super flavorful and fell right off the bone, no knife was need. The pulpo was cooked to perfection and was tender and delicious. The risk with pulpo is that it can be chewy and tough, definitely not the case here. One note, the tostada for the tostada de pescado seem a bit too dry, but the flavor of fresh seafood made up for it. If you want a fun show with your food, order the ceviche, it comes out with a cool smoke effect. Overall, the service was fast and friendly, and the overall experience at the restaurant was enjoyable. While they don't have a parking lot, street parking is cheap (at least compared to Chicago) and plentiful. Amerikas is a must visit in Oak Park.“
“This is a newer spot near me that I recently discovered, it overs a different variety of food to the area. Will fulfill that middle eastern craving close to home and they offer other menu items for those not brave enough to venture. Have been here a few times and it doesn't disappoint.“
“My family and I absolutely love this spot!! Their daily specials are top notch. And their chicken noodle soup is one of the best out there. You can tell it's homemade. We have not had something we did not like from Sunrise grill. The staff here is so wonderful. Always so nice and accommodating. We love the staff there. We always feel so welcomed.“
“Super friendly, solid burger spot. Tried the normal burgers to get a sense of the baseline, but will be back to try the “L” burgers. Lettuce, tomato, and onion were really fresh- they’re not throwing trash veggies on top of their burgers! Curds were lightly battered and not too oily.“
“Everything about this place has a classic feel, but not like a played-out classic. It's more nostalgic with a twist. The food has an old-school feel that will make your inner child sing while satisfying your adult taste buds and sensibilities. The product is consistently delicious. Pop in if you're in the neighborhood.“
“We recently held our daughter's Birthday party at Logan 11. Everything from start to finish was delightful. Clint and his Staff did an amazing job with every detail. The food and drink selection they created was the perfect fit for our party!Vegetarian options: Good vege options“
“While the food is excellent and locally sourced, the prices are high. It's an a la carte menu. They even charge for bread. Soups are $8, salads $15+ and they're not entree size. I suggest sharing entrees to save money and enjoy the food.“
“Service was great even though we came 10 minutes before closing, additionally we got absolutely great recommendations from supporting staff. The drinks were superb. Food was delicious. Favorite was the octopus! -Overhead lighting was a minus though. Bring sunglasses.“
“Flew from Reno to Chicago to see my son play lacrosse in the Milwaukee area. Had to stay in Chicago over night due to problems with our rental car. Happen to stay right next to Frannie"s Beef. So glad we stopped for a Italian beef and sausage combo sandwich. I have been craving a good italian beef sandwich since my last trip to Chicago. This place is an icon. Definitely will be stopping here again.“
“I'm from Atlanta Ga ,and was visiting family and friends and we stopped in for a hotdog ..delicious ? and the fries tastes like McDonald's fries ( although they are not )lol I ate mine and my friends..nice atmosphere, and the gentleman who took our order was great ?“

“So sorry the pic tells it all.. the food was amazing ? nothing left and forgot to take a pic because when the food came out we didn’t stop eating lol ? the coffee and service was on point. Our waiter Julian paid attention to us and our creamer “
“Bergen went above and beyond. She was super helpful and empathetic. My order wasn’t processed correctly online. She didn’t have to take my order, but she did. She is amazing. Every time I come in she is polite and helpful. Thank you Bergen.“
“Its a great restaurant, been here many of times, upon my last visit our waitress was an older white woman with bleached blond hair! She was mad because the customers were done eating but hadn't gotten up from the table! Complaining about she's tired and ready to go home. I thought it was unprofessional! And!!!!! She didn't even get our order correct. I enjoy the restaurant, but I definitely don't want her to serve me anymore!“
“k bendición, such a warm and welcoming atmosphere! i love that as a spanish speaker i felt right at home while also receiving the best of both worlds cuisine. service was jimmy johns kind of crazy fast and the food was absolutely delicious!! certainly a step up from your regular diner! would highly recommend?“

“We have Blondie's right in the town where we live. It has been a neighborhood favorite for years. Family friendly, with great service. The atmosphere can be loud on a weekend morning, so ne ready to shares your conversations. Food is very good, and the prices make it worth the time.“
“Wow, this place is AMAZING? Great service, hopping atmosphere, and every single one of our dishes were delicious. We will be making this establishment a regular breakfast place during our Chicago visits! Food ordered was: Breakfast burrito Croissant Sandwich Buttermilk pancakes with a side of crispy bacon!“
“We used to go to the restaurant in Edina MN and have been to the one in Chicago. Perfect breakfast restaurant. The 49er Flapjacks are fantastic, as is the waffle. The bacon is perfectly cooked. A great experience, which is why it is always crowded on the weekends.“
“Nice, friendly, warm welcoming Cafe. Staff was nice and lots of options on the menu. The food was really delicious and the pricing was cheap for what you get! This was my first time here and it seemed like there was lots of regulars which is always nice to see. Really enjoyed our time there.“
“Best Burgers! Took my husband there once and now I can't get him to go anywhere else. His words "Why chance somewhere else when Kuma's is always on point!" The Burgers are huge with a new Burger of the Month that keeps the menu fresh.Every Burger is delicious and totally different making it impossible to pick one. Also you can substitute the beef with Chicken! ? Atmosphere is great with cult classic movies playing behind the heavy metal music. Oh and let's not forget the beer/liquor selection!“
“I was pleasantly surprised by everything; service, food & cost. Will definitely be going back for more. Had skirt steak & eggs with pancakes instead of toast. The cut of skirt steak was proper length, width & thickness. No weird thin cuts here. Also, the pancakes are amazing. The waitress was so friendly & attentive that she is the gold standard & one of the best I've had anywhere, my entire life. Nothing over the top of phoney, just a darn excellent person.“
“From the moment you walk in to the moment you leave, the staff here are fantastic. Upon entering we were greeted with a warm good morning from the cooks and the waitresses, even though they were slammed. We took spots at the counter so we could watch the cooks work their magic. Those two were so much fun to watch while we ate. They’re very skilled and put out delicious food. Everything they made looked amazing, from the omelettes to the salads. We ordered a corned beef hash and two eggs with ham and hash browns. Everything was fantastic. We can’t wait to go back!Cash only.“
