We ordered take out from City Barbecue and I have to say I was underwhelmed by it. The meat seemed underseasoned and the fat wasn't fully rendered on the brisket.The sides were solid, but for barbecue you want the meat to be the star. I'd be willing to try them again for dine in to see if that improved the quality of the food, but I wouldn't order them for take out again.
Disappointing. Two brisket sandwiches and 2 sides. Brisket had fat on it and pieces to think and a little tough. Mac and Cheese was dry and had no flavor. Green beans especially mushy and no bacon in there. It looked like a hunk of brisket.Was considering suggesting City BBQ for retirement luncheon but definitely not.
