Blufish Sushi Bistro Reviews
Bluefin in Park Ridge has become my go-to for business lunches, and I keep coming back for good reason. This is the best sushi I have found outside the Loop, and I have covered a lot of ground. The fish is consistently fresh and the rolls are executed at a level that most city spots would be proud of -- not the watered-down suburban version of the cuisine, the real thing.
The atmosphere is what makes it work for a lunch meeting. The music is cool without being intrusive,...read full review
Blufish is a great sushi spot with a nice atmosphere and plenty of choices on the menu. The sushi and Japanese dishes are excellent.
They were slammed tonight and food took longer than usual but manager Nicole was awesome. She came by to check on us regularly, explained the situation, took great care of us and turned what could have been a frustrating night into a happy one. Thank you, Nicole!

Blufish Sushi Bistro offers a great dining experience with fresh and high-quality food. The menu includes a variety of vegetarian options and low-calorie items with high nutritional value. Standout dishes include fresh oysters, fried Gyoza, spicy edamame, sushi rolls, and the highly recommended Crab Cakes. The restaurant has a trendy and beautiful atmosphere, with options to sit at the bar. There is a parking garage directly under the restaurant, providing easy access with an elevator, making it wheelchair accessible. The service is very good, and the restaurant has a swanky vibe, especially in the evenings. Customers praise the well-prepared sushi, the Benton box, and the attentive bus staff. The decor is beautiful, both inside and on the outdoor patio. While the crispy rice was a bit chewy, the rolls and shumai were flavorful. The service can be slow, but the quality of the fish is excellent, and the specialty maki offer a good variety of fillings.
