“Bagel Miller is a go-to spot in Lincoln Square. The branding and atmosphere are fun and creative, the staff is welcoming, and the bagels, coffee, matcha, and chai are delicious. They have a gluten free bagel option too (although it is not homemade like their bagels made with gluten). The only downside is that it’s a bit pricey but still worth it for the taste.“

“I recently visited this spot and tried the Nova Lox Bagel. While the bagel itself was fresh and well-toasted, the salmon was a letdown. Nova lox is typically known for being less salty than regular smoked salmon, but in this case, it was overly salty and overwhelmed the other flavors. The toppings, like cream cheese, capers, and onions, were well-balanced, but the saltiness of the salmon really detracted from the overall experience.

I also decided to try the apricot cookie, but that turned out to be a mistake. I was surprised to learn it cost nearly $5—far more than I expected for a single cookie. Unfortunately, the taste was disappointing; it was so unpalatable that I couldn’t even finish it. The texture was dense and off-putting, and the apricot flavor was barely there. It felt like a waste of money, and I left feeling dissatisfied.

The prices were reasonable for the bagel, but the quality didn’t fully match my expectations. As for the cookie, it was overpriced and not worth trying again. Overall, a mixed experience—there’s potential, but the execution fell short.“

“L&W has been a GIFT to the neighborhood! We worked with their team to have a small cake made for our daughter's first birthday and it was not only delicious, but they were very intentional with the questions they asked for the baking process. The staff is friendly, inclusive and passionate. Not to mention, their coffee and food is so, so tasty. One of the best everything bagels I've had in a minute and who doesn't love a Skully boi. SUCH a vibe.“

My absolute FAVORITE from the meal was the Brighton Beach - the smoked salmon was perfect, the ratio of ingredients was incredible, and the flavor of the everything bagel tied everything together! I’d highly recommend checking out the South Loop Gotham Bagels location!“

“blown away. fantastic coffee, delicious flavors, and amazing food. you can definitely taste that the espresso is very high quality and that the baristas are skilled at what they do (something that's not as common as I'd like among Chicagoland coffee shops). the syrups they use are some of the best I've ever tasted, hands down. the torta was also delicious, ingredients tasted fresh and very well prepared and assembled. the only small complaint is that the matcha isn't particularly strong, but the amazing flavor of everything else honestly makes up for it.“

“Some of the best pastries I have ever had! I have been there several times now and plan to keep going. Service has always been quick and efficient. Staff is polite, cafe is kept very clean, there is a little play area for kids, and they even have Mahjong tables you can rent for free! I plan to play Hong Kong style with some friends in September. I am so grateful for this cafe.“
