I think this might be the best bagel place in Chicago. I don’t think it can quite match what you’ll find in New York City, but it’s very good. You can order at the counter or on your mobile device, which is efficient and convenient. There’s water and sparkling water at the front which I appreciate. Mmm we went here for a birthday breakfast. We left saying that we’re sure we could order almost anything on the menu and be satisfied. I recommend the Ruth. Husband had the Uncle Rube and really enjoyed.Kid-friendliness: Brought our baby and there was ample space for a stroller despite it being slightly busy. Other kids were there enjoying themselves.

Great sandwiches, soup and staff is very friendly. Maybe it’s because it was our first visit and there were 5 of us, but ordering was a little “wonky” and we had to go back and buy our drinks separately because they were located away from the front where you were place orders. Now we know to grab our drinks first and then order our food. Very relaxing place to enjoy lunch with the family!
