The Banana Nutella empanada is a must have, and I'll never leave without at least two Bacon, Date, and Goat Cheese. Absolutely delicious. Highly recommend!Vegetarian options: The Ratatouille is to die for.
I was visiting friends in the area and I was so glad they took me to 5411 Empanadas! They're open late which worked out great with our schedule. This place is pretty casual and you can order empanadas à la carte. The variety of empanadas was truly impressive. They have something for everyone and each empanada's flavor packed a punch. In addition to your more traditional, savory empanadas, 5411 also has a few sweet offerings. I recommend 3+ empanadas per person to make it a meal....read full review

TRY THE BACON DATE EMPANADA. I went in here fully with the intention of ordering the usual chicken, sweet corn, etc. But impulsively I decided to try the bacon date and it was a 11/10 decision by me. Also get the chimichurri sauce- the best I’ve had so far in ChicagoOnly con is that the empanadas are kinda small in size and not commensurate to the price
