I ordered a meal with spring rolls as an appetizer. they came with my meal, not before. my son ordered a chicken and rice meal, took a bitr and hated it. they refused to take it off my bill. 88$ for a meal for my sonnamd I and he didn't eat his meal. didn't offer another meal or anything. other restaurants would have made it right. theives. my left overs leaked through my bag going home. nor happy. we also felt obligated to tip even though server was rude and dint know about the 20% charge that's automatically charged“

“I am not local, this is a regular go-to place for a friend, so when I visit with her, she wants to bring me. I had a Chinese Eggplant with chicken dish, flavorful and spicy. Also had some nigiri sushi, all very good. The Black Tobiko was plentiful and fresh. The Tamago and Inari, which are types of sushi that are deceptively simple seeming but really show a chef's knowledge and artistry, were excellent. I'm sure I will go again.“

“Five stars! Our group had lunch here recently and shared some dishes, served by friendly people. The Vegetable Momo was wonderful, light and fresh. I had Nepali Khasi with a flavorful sauce. Others had Chicken Chowmein, Lamb Vindaloo, and Jhol Momo. All were full of taste and the ingredients were fresh and perfectly prepared. Overall, it was a wonderful meal, greatly appreciated by everyone. We'll return!“

“Did the karaoke party - - family style food first then karaoke. The crab rangoon is very good as well as the garlic green beans. The orange chicken head very orange-y. Also came with vegetable egg rolls, vegetable fried rice, sushi, dumplings. I thought the rest of the food was just ok but I'd be willing to go back to try food specifically that I prefer and could order. It's byob but he supplies ice and there is liquor on site. “Unpopular but should be popular opinion, Peking Mandarin is the best restaurant in Chicago. I’ve been ordering by takeout from here for the last 8 years and I finally dined in. Takeout has always been exceptionally good and dine in was also. The service was quick and attentive. The owner was so kind and funny. A hidden gem for sure.“

Never been disappointed with an order the quality of the food is outstanding the service is always very friendly and I always get parking in the small parking lot it's easy to find on the corner Irving in California next to Horner Park in a 7-Eleven parking lot. It's my go-to place for not outrageously priced Chinese food. Recommended the specials.“

A lot of Chinese American restaurants can have a sort of mass produced feel and use the same suppliers but you can tell a lot of love and pride goes into the food here.“

“This place is awesome! We went for a girls night and enjoyed the whole hotpot experience! The lamb is halal here, so we were happy to have a meat option. However, the veggie broth itself is so flavorful—having just veggies would have been just fine! By the end of the night we were drinking cups of the broth, because of how flavorful it was!! If you like spicy, definitely get the spicy broth! You won’t regret it. Appreciated how clean the place was—the staff were great about checking in and refilling the broth regularly! “LOVE this place and low-key consider it a hidden gem. Prices are so reasonable, even after having gone up in January - lunch special is $8. Portions have shrunk some (that's to be expected when prices go up) but it's still enough food to fill you up. Occasionally they'll get something small wrong (fried rice when I asked for white), but everything I've ordered from here is tasty, which is what not only keeps me coming back, but keeps me telling my coworkers about this place.“

“Kind of expensive. Cabbage with a few drops of bacon $16.. two small spicy hotpot fish didn't taste so fresh sliced into 4 filets $50. Overall atmosphere is good and clean and plates are brought out by robots first before the server put them on the table. Overall probably would go back again but not ordering those two items.“

Price wise, it's not $12 for a large General Tsaos chicken, but it's not $20 either. ( I think it was $15 here?) It's middle of the road pricing for food that is better than almost any place charging more. I genuinely mean that too. The Fried Rice is a good way to tell too, it's not an oily mess, it's cooked perfectly and is priced amazing as well. I've eaten at Chinese Restaurants where I've spent far more than here, and this place is on the same level of quality if not exceeding it. Everything tastes fresh, and you don't feel gross after eating it or have just way too much oil on everything. HIGHLY recommend checking out this place, you pay just a little bit more than smaller spots in the city, and you get FAR better quality food.“
