“Stopped by to pick up my order and had such a great experience. The food looked amazing, especially the beautiful platter they had on display.

I ordered the crispy chicken with fried rice, egg roll, and broccoli, and it was fresh, flavorful, and very satisfying. The presentation was great too.

The staff were incredibly kind—they let me take pictures and even gave me a complimentary bowl of soup, which was such a thoughtful gesture.

“I sat in and got the birria tacos, and they were SO good. The horchata, churros, rice, and beans were delicious and tasted authentic too. I’m extremely picky when it comes to Mexican food, so I don’t say this lightly, but everything tasted so fresh and flavorful. The owner was also incredibly kind and welcoming, which made the whole experience feel really warm and comforting. You can really tell they care about the food and the people who come in.

Definitely recommend giving Taco Verde a try if you’re in Glenview. 10/10! ❤“

We were staying at a hotel near by and decided to check this spot out instead of going downtown and it turned out being a great option! Highly recommended. During our visit we also noticed a lot of locals dine in.“

“Loved the food here! I went here with friends and family for the first time, very memorable! We went as a larger group of around 12 people. At first the staff told us that we would have to wait 30 minutes, but instead they decided to push a few tables together—so we could sit. It was very kind and thoughtful of them!! I absolutely loved the food, the sanji and dumplings being my absolute favorite! My least favorite dish was the chili pepper chicken, it tasted acidic and me and my friends ate the rice rather the chicken. Its personal preference though, so you might like it! The atmosphere was very nice and personally very cute in numerous ways!“

“The guy that answered the phone and took my order could have sounded like he was interested or at least a little bit friendly. Other than that I do have to say they're sweet and sour chicken is probably the best around. They're fried rice is also delicious. It's been a while since I was there so when I go back I'll update on the next dish that I get. All in all it's definitely good food.“

The vegetables are lazily not chopped well, so it is in huge pieces in all their dishes. It's mainly a carryout so don't eat there because it's dingy, loud and busy.

“I came here specifically for the Orange Chicken, and it did not disappoint at all. The sauce is perfectly balanced—not too sweet, not too sour—and the chicken stays crispy even after being coated. Portion size is generous, and the staff is very welcoming. I’ll definitely be coming back again.“

I love the place coz it's not that busy in comparison to H Mart and other Asian Grocery store that has a food court. Or perhaps today is day after Labor Day, that's why its quite. Plus ASSI got tons of Asian Ready hot/cold foods to go and you can eat at their food court. 🥰, Love the Spicy Noodles i ordered its just the right spice though I ordered extremely hot and spicy stuff. I live downtown and have visited his restaurants in Chinatown and Michigan Ave. The food is exception each and every time I go to either location. When the "coming soon" sign popped up in Highland Park, I could not have been more thrilled, considering the food at our local chinese restaurants refuse to raise the bar on their food. There is no better Szechuan restaurant in the Chicago area or beyond. The food, the staff, and the service are all exceptional and executed with perfection and passion. This has been the most anticipated opening on the northshore for a reason. Lao is simply unbeatable. I love it love it LOVE IT!!!!!“

I am a FAN of chinese food, but no where around suburbs and chicago will you find such FRESH food! Veggies are perfectly done, meat is perfectly cooked! Sauce is amazing taste! I had their Happy Family Dish , Chicken fried rice and Khan Pau Chicken .

“This place is one of the best restaurants I've been to in the northern suburbs, it's hard to find good Sichuan style Chinese food but this place has it. I got the twice cooked chili fish was my favorite dish, the Mongolian beef had thick cuts of tender beef and seafood garlic fried rice was full of shrimp scallops mussels and fish. The menu has so much to choose from, I look forward to visiting again“

“Kind of expensive. Cabbage with a few drops of bacon $16.. two small spicy hotpot fish didn't taste so fresh sliced into 4 filets $50. Overall atmosphere is good and clean and plates are brought out by robots first before the server put them on the table. Overall probably would go back again but not ordering those two items.“

“It’s my first time at this restaurant. It was recommended by my wife's brother. I order the BBQ Ribs and the jumbo shrimp Lo Mien ! My wife ordered the Mongolian Beef! The ribs were juicy, sweet and full of meat and the Lo Mien was cooked perfectly, the shrimp was juicy and full of flavor! This restaurant is a 10/10! 5 stars isn’t enough!“

My family was out and I was on my own recovering from a surgery and felt like treating myself so I figured “ let’s get a bit fancy and order PF Chang”. What a huge mistake that was. The beef with Broccoli had les than 2 oz of beef for $30. I have included a comparison between Hunan Palace’s beef with vegetables vs what I received from PF. Hunan Palace blows PF away! Additional I have had very good luck requesting modifications, I like extra spicy and extra sauce, Human honored my request while PF did not. I think the pics tell all“
