“The art of being perfect is practically impossible the reason I say practically is this place. They take a crab Rangoon a salty food and someway somehow makes it sweet but also makes it work. And the service is great they constantly check in with you seeing if you’re ok and they even threw away some of my trash without me asking. the fact that this place is not only good in service but also taste and the amazing Japanese atmosphere while also having reasonable prices shocks me definitely a 10/10 Scorsese would cry at this.“

“This is a very nice restaurant for ramen. The tonkotsu ramen with the bone broth tastes amazing. You can tell they put real effort into making it authentic. The staff are very friendly and cooperative when you ask for extra things like a slice of lemon for your fried appetizer or extra napkins. The decor is Japanese-cute. My only concern is the public environment outside the restaurant. The area near the Wilson/Sheridan corner smells very foul in summer time. There is visible defecation on the sidewalks, more likely from humans instead of pets. I would suggest to the business owners in the area to band together, cooperate, and powerwash the sidewalks of the surrounding area frequently and petition the city and state law enforcement to diligently enforce all existing public health ordinances. I would also support the state legislature if they criminalize public defecation, urination, smoking, drinking, yelling, fighting in public, etc. with severe punishments and, ideally, send all those riffraff to prisons outside of this country for life. I know it is a fantasy, but wouldn't it be nice to have a clean, sanitary, and safe neighborhood for such a nice restaurant? At the minimum, more powerwashing of the public spaces within a 3-4-block radius outside of the restaurant, at least once a week, would be nice. I sympathize with the business owners, but they also have a greater voice with the city and state authorities. Please use that voice to clean up the neighborhood around you, and I guarantee I will be at the restaurant almost every week.“

“WOW I was so impressed by this place! I was close by and needed some food, and they were able to complete my order very quickly! Got a chicken yakisoba, and it SLAPPED. The chicken was good quality and the veg was really fresh! Definitely a new regular place to visit.“

Very reasonable prices as well. The most astonishing fact about this restaurant was the host (Quam) his amazing knowledge of food and customer service was unlike any other. The Ice cream desert was mind blowing. You don't have to take my word for it, but I guarantee you, you won't find another Sushi restaurant in the city of Chicago as good this one. The ambiance of this establishment is very warm and pleasant. I highly recommend this place for family gatherings, and with people you want to share a special food feast with. “I decided to check out this local ramen restaurant which is right next to Thorndale train station. I ordered the Tonkotsu spicy ramen and I must say it was delicious.

The only critique is that I only got 2 pieces of meat, and the bowl did not have much veggies in it like your average ramen spot. However, it was pretty good and I’ll definitely visit again.“

“I dined at Neko Sushi and tried their tuna and avocado fried rolls, and they are the reason I’ve already been back three times in the past two weeks since finding this neighborhood gem. My fiancé ordered the shrimp in a blanket and they were perfectly crispy and packed with flavor. I had the ramen both times and it was absolutely delicious. My fiancé tried the pad thai with shrimp on one visit and the basil shrimp fried rice on another, and both dishes were full of flavor and so satisfying. Neko Sushi has quickly become one of our favorites. Everything we’ve tried has been consistently fresh and tasty. Oh and they are BYOB!“

Oh my goodness. whoever's recipe that is, please give them a massive hug for me right now and say thank you because that was the most delicious thing I've had in so long. What a TREAT! these folks have somehow managed to incorporate happiness as an ingredient in their food, so when you eat it, All the happiness particles travel through your body for 24 to 48 hours and you feel extremely satisfied and fulfilled. you might miss the ramen afterwards, and you might end up having dreams about it like I do but trust me, they're pleasant dreams.“

“The widest selection of Sushi grade seafood Ive seen on a menu in a Long time- all very fresh and very generously portioned! Octopus and salmon Sashimi were the dessert orders from our kids 😂 We will definetly be returning, and highly recommend. “When I was diagnosed with celiac disease, I thought I would never be able to eat at some of my favorite restaurants again. While this is true for most restaurants, it’s not true for YATAI. They are very knowledgeable about how to prepare their dishes in a safe, gluten free way without cross contamination, and it makes me feel safe and comfortable eating out again. If you call, they can tell you what they can make gluten free, and if you use the Uber Eats allergy function, they will let you know if anything you ordered can’t be made gluten free (but I recommend calling first). Their food is delicious, and I can say that with all of their considerations surrounding my dietary restrictions, they will have a regular customer for life!!“

“This is the best Japanese restaurant in the world, plain and simple. For food: sushi, ramen, tempura, you name it, they have it. For drinks: sake, beer, Ramune, the list goes on and on. Don’t forget the mochi for dessert as a sweet treat to end your meal. Service is impeccable. There is outdoor dining during the weather-permitting summer months. New customers often become regulars here and if you ask, many will say this is their local favorite. Can’t say enough positive things about this place. You just have to try it for yourself.
