KOHOKU-KU RAMEN CHICAGO Reviews
Charming and cozy atmosphere, we got ramen and two apps, food was all excellent especially for the price! Definitely going in the neighborhood rotation!
Great ramen for a good price. The waitress was very pleasant and made sure my guest and I were taken care of while also giving great recommendations for ramen to try. Highly recommend if you're wanting some great ramen.
A perfect hole-in-the-wall ramen place in Edgewater. It’s tiny. They have no air conditioning. But their food is genuinely good from broth to tofu. Despite being a ramen place, their curry was just as awesome. This is a perfect spot on a rainy or snowy date night. Highly recommended.

Kohoku-Ku Ramen Chicago is a cozy and inviting restaurant with a Tokyo-inspired atmosphere. The menu features a variety of ramen dishes, including the recommended Spicy Tonkotsu and Tonkotsu Ramen, which are made with high-quality ingredients and served in generous portions. Customers have enjoyed these dishes, noting their delicious presentation. The service is friendly, mindful, and fast, with attentive staff eager to make recommendations. The restaurant's booths offer a festive and private feel, although some find the seating uncomfortable. In addition to ramen, the menu includes appetizers like kurobuta sausage served with spicy mayo, and drinks such as Thai iced tea and unique options like melon cream soda. While the ramen has received praise, some diners feel the broth could use more depth of flavor. The recent reviews mention that the spicy ramen is tasty but the portion size is small, and that tables for pairs are very close, with no restroom available. The street-style decorations add a cool vibe to the place. Overall, Kohoku-Ku Ramen Chicago remains a solid choice for a delicious and satisfying meal, especially for those looking for a cozy atmosphere and friendly service. Its convenient location near the Thorndale Red Line Station makes it easy to visit.
