I must have called 6 times changing the number of people and requesting a round table and they were so patient and accommodating. I'm sorry I don't remember the names I spoke with on the phone but they were wonderful. Our server Miguel was great, we wanted for nothing and the room we were in was outstanding. “I was introduced to Half Shall about 9 years ago. I must admit hands down the best King Crab Legs I've had in a long time. Let's talk about the Catfish/Jumbo Fried Shrimp. Lord have mercy on me! Very good, very good, very good. The cocktails are not bad either. I've brought family members from the DC location and they absolutely loved the food. I've never encountered a bad waitress or poor customer service. The perfect little GEM in the neighborhood.“

and I mean it. I’ve tried more than my fair share of seafood boils in the Chicagoland area. I must say, there is always something that makes or breaks the meal. Whether it’s the vibe. The freshness and quality of the seafood. Or the biggest factor for me, the price.

Oh my Crab definitely blew all of my expectations out of the water. The seafood boil was fresh and flavorful. The hush puppies came with a very intriguing sauce, one that makes you want to come back the next day for more. Each of the servers were very nice, treat my friend and I with kindness.

Overall I would rate this a 10/10 seafood boils spot ! Definitely worth it if you’re looking to satisfy your boil cravings without breaking the bank!!“

“I have gone to Andros Taverna for many years now where I am never disappointed and always impressed with the service, the quality of food and ingredients, the atmosphere and the passion in general. Chef Doug Psaltis is a true expert and artist performing at the highest levels. The gyros are the best, best gyros in Chicago by far, the seafood world class, the homemade bread and pita are incredible. The foods and meats are cooked over wood fire, wood fire grilled. We had our daughters baptism catered from here which was excellent assortment of Greek food - this is a Greek restaurant you will go to for many years to come.“

Service was friendly, nice casual dining spot. Great bar choices. The meal was delicious - we had the skirt steak and the flavor was top notch. My meal came with 4 shrimp and prepared well, not spicy. The flavors were yum and truly can’t wait to go back. From reviews the seafood looks delicious. We will try that next time!“

“I went in there last week to buy jumbo shrimp $24.95 per LB. Is there new owners in this place. When I got home there was small shrimp with a couple of Jumbo...I should of took a picture. They use to put the fried shrimp in a wax lined brown bag...now they have a with paper container when I got home all was cold. Not wasting my time..“

Unlike other spots where you already have “pre-assembled” ingredients for a poke bowl and just choose which one you want (so-called signature bowls), here you have to build it yourself. The poke was fine. The ingredients are fresh, and since I picked what I like, of course I enjoyed it. The place feels cozy and interesting, with lots of plants inside. My only complaint is that the low white tables are very close together, so you literally can’t move. They need to be spaced out a bit.“
