Excellent food and service. The chef was very accommodating of our needs and dietary needs, and our server Jeliza was so helpful and delightful. We enjoyed everything and will definitely be visiting again and again.

Based on the reviews, Amano Bistro Chicago is a wonderful neighborhood spot in North Center. The atmosphere is described as cozy and upbeat, making it a great place for a date night or a meal with family. The food is exceptional and absolutely delicious, with a menu big enough to explore. Standout meals include the jerk chicken sandwich, which is perfectly balanced with juicy thigh meat on a pretzel bun, and the lasagna. Other menu highlights are the enormous Greek salad with no lettuce, the lobster ravioli, the chicken pizzaiola, and fantastic mussels. The chef prepares everything with care, and the tiramisu is spectacular. Service is outstanding and excellent, with a team that is kind and accommodating. The restaurant also offers a great value with reasonably priced entrees and $22 bottomless mimosas for brunch. The ambiance feels like a restaurant in Milan. This is a highly recommended, go-to spot.
