Cho Sun Ok Restaurant Reviews
Being Korean myself, it was such a treat to come visit Chicago.. and eat at a traditional Korean restaurant. All of the women working there are such hard workers, they all help each other out.
People who complain about the “lack of service” or their demeanors clearly do not understand different cultures. These women are all exceptional hard workers. Many barely know English. They work together in unision.. whether it’s filling up water, clearing tables,...read full review

Fabulous
Super yummy food & vibes are good in the restaurant. Major plus is everything kept as leftovers veryyyy well. I will say there was no AC but absolutely worth the warmth.

Cho Sun Ok Restaurant serves delicious Korean cuisine, featuring standout dishes like YukGaeJang, Mal Mandu, and Bulgogi. This bustling eatery is a hidden gem for authentic Korean BBQ in Lincoln Square and offers great options, including kbbq, with a BYOB policy. The food is flavorful and tender, with highlights such as OjingUh Bokeum and banchan like pickled daikon, water radish kimchi, and potato salad with apples. The atmosphere is cozy, and while the service can be fast-paced and sassy, the staff is attentive. Customers are encouraged to arrive early to beat the lines and come hungry with a group to experience multiple dishes. However, it can get busy, so be prepared to wait a bit. After enjoying the meal, diners may notice a lingering smell of meat due to ventilation issues.
