“I was introduced to Half Shall about 9 years ago. I must admit hands down the best King Crab Legs I've had in a long time. Let's talk about the Catfish/Jumbo Fried Shrimp. Lord have mercy on me! Very good, very good, very good. The cocktails are not bad either. I've brought family members from the DC location and they absolutely loved the food. I've never encountered a bad waitress or poor customer service. The perfect little GEM in the neighborhood.“

“BEST SEAFOOD BOIL IN THE CITY

and I mean it. I’ve tried more than my fair share of seafood boils in the Chicagoland area. I must say, there is always something that makes or breaks the meal. Whether it’s the vibe. The freshness and quality of the seafood. Or the biggest factor for me, the price.

Oh my Crab definitely blew all of my expectations out of the water. The seafood boil was fresh and flavorful. The hush puppies came with a very intriguing sauce, one that makes you want to come back the next day for more. Each of the servers were very nice, treat my friend and I with kindness.

Overall I would rate this a 10/10 seafood boils spot ! Definitely worth it if you’re looking to satisfy your boil cravings without breaking the bank!!“

“The food and experience were both amazing. We started off with the Florida Stone crab and Madagascar shrimp. Both were delicious. My boyfriend got the 12 ounce filet and I got the seafood platter (with lobster, scallops, and shrimp). We shared the sides jennie’s mashed potatoes and lobster macaroni and cheese (a lot of lobster in it)! The steak was the best he’s ever had. Both sides were delicious. My lobster and shrimp were the best ever and scallops good too. We ended with banana crème pie and espresso martinis which were also amazing. Servers very attentive. They brought wet rags after each messy appetizer. Great atmosphere and perfect for a romantic date. Best meal ever. Definitely recommend!“

“I have gone to Andros Taverna for many years now where I am never disappointed and always impressed with the service, the quality of food and ingredients, the atmosphere and the passion in general. Chef Doug Psaltis is a true expert and artist performing at the highest levels. The gyros are the best, best gyros in Chicago by far, the seafood world class, the homemade bread and pita are incredible. The foods and meats are cooked over wood fire, wood fire grilled. We had our daughters baptism catered from here which was excellent assortment of Greek food - this is a Greek restaurant you will go to for many years to come.“

From our first drink at the bar to our stunning riverfront table for dinner, everything was simply spectacular! We started by sharing the Arancini Cacio E Pepe and the Cacio E Pepe before savoring my filet mignon and her New York strip steak with sides of Brussels sprouts and handmade fries, topped off with an flaming baked Alaska! “I went for a friends graduation brunch, and it was definitely a hopping spot in the city, and I can see the appeal for the rooftop views alone, but I think it’s a bit overpriced for what you’re getting in my opinion. I had the biscuits and gravy ($25) which was fine but also strange in that it tasted more like a chowder than gravy. I also got the chocolate chip cookies which were and came in an order of 3 for $12. As I said, a bit overpriced for cookies, but actually felt worth it for their size and deliciousness. Of course, part of why you’re coming here is for the views and this place did not disappoint! Despite it being a very hot day outside, there was a good crowd out there especially because there’s a bar on the patio as well. And even though it was very busy throughout the entire time there, my party and I had fairly consistent service, although I did have my drink order forgotten, but the server ended up comping me for it, which made up for it.“
