“Great food, not so great service.“

“On Thursday, 5/30, my wife and I had dinner at the restaurant. Our favorite server, Rita, was assisting us. During our meal, we witnessed a front desk employee yelling at Rita and slamming his hands on the table, causing a significant disturbance that was noticeable to many patrons. Despite this unprofessional behavior, Rita maintained her composure and continued to provide exceptional service. Her professionalism and dedication to her customers were commendable. We will definitely return, thanks to Rita's outstanding service.“

“The food is ALWAYS top tier here. Crab legs be big not scrawny like at them seafood boil places. Right now im trying to have them relinquish me from their shackles because from the crab legs to the craw fish they got me stuck. Food is fresh and sauces are A1. Plus they aren’t too expensive either definitely reasonably priced.“

The space itself is beautiful and while it seats more than you'd think, there's a level of coziness and intimacy. The food is well prepared and delicious. With elevated dishes, I thought the menu offers flair and thoughtfulness. Amongst our group we had carrots, truffle gnocchi, burgers, chicken, milk and cookies, espresso martinis, and the milk punch. Not a single miss, we were all happy members of the clean plate club. I had a phenomenal experience at Oliver's and cannot wait for my next visit, I will certainly be back in the near future.“

“Ordered the catfish, shrimp and chicken wings. Also the nachos. All super delicious. The only downside was that the dining area was too hot to eat comfortably. I am visiting out of town and ate at the location. Otherwise, the dining area was clean.“

“Today was my first time there. The food is delicious my kids love it but I don’t feel I had the great service. First, we didn’t get the napkins and utensils on time but way after the food got there. A drink spilled on me (our fault) which made me realized there was no napkins provided, by the time we found the lady for napkins I was soaking wet. Then we were about to start eating and my children needed a fork, well no fork was provided. We ordered 3 seafood boils, no utensils for that were provided neither. My husband ordered an extra drink, never was it brought to us. I’m happy my kids enjoyed it, but we were not that pleased as we saw others being treated differently. Not sure if we will be returning.“

“Amazing smoked beef brisket sandwich with fresh cut fries. Everything was was made fresh and served piping hot. The BBQ sauce is delicious... sweet, smoky and a tad spicy. The portions are large and well worth the money. If in the area again, I would definitely go back.“

From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by extremely friendly staff who made us feel welcome right away. The service started off great and stayed that way the entire time. We were seated very quickly and didn’t have to wait long at all. The food came out fresh and hot, and no joke; everything we tried was extremely delicious. We decided to try a little bit of everything so we could really experience the menu. We ordered the oxtails, Alfredo pasta, lamb chops, fried catfish, rib tips, baked mac & cheese, and candied yams, and every single dish was on point. The flavors were incredible and everything was cooked perfectly. Another thing that really stood out was how clean the restaurant was. Even the bathrooms were spotless, which always says a lot about a place. Great food, great service, and a clean environment; you can’t ask for much more than that. Hands down a 10/10 experience. “Honestly didn't expect to be this impressed walking in, place looks low key from outside but the food says otherwise. Went with the langostinos Nayarit style after the waiter talked it up, heavy on garlic and totally worth the hype. Brought wine since it's BYOB, just know there's a limit on how much per person so don't overdo it. Salsa on the table is not playing around, respect it. Solid spot for a seafood night.“
