“Food is flavorful. I loved the langostinos and the michelada. The restaurant layout is nice and spacious. It has a bar in the middle. However, this location is fairly new so you won't see many people here yet, so don't be discouraged to try out this place. We barely discovered it and it's so close to us! It's been open since January 2025.“

“Today was my first time there. The food is delicious my kids love it but I don’t feel I had the great service. First, we didn’t get the napkins and utensils on time but way after the food got there. A drink spilled on me (our fault) which made me realized there was no napkins provided, by the time we found the lady for napkins I was soaking wet. Then we were about to start eating and my children needed a fork, well no fork was provided. We ordered 3 seafood boils, no utensils for that were provided neither. My husband ordered an extra drink, never was it brought to us. I’m happy my kids enjoyed it, but we were not that pleased as we saw others being treated differently. Not sure if we will be returning.“

“My friends and I visited Frankie’s in Tinley Park for the first time and had such a great experience! I ordered the pappardelle, while my friends got the rigatoni vodka and linguine with shrimp — everything was absolutely delicious. The food was flavorful, fresh, and clearly made with care. Service was also fantastic and made our first visit even better. We’ll definitely be back!“

“Great experience going for the first time. Parking available near by, no waiting for a Sunday dinner. Prices not bad for the portions. Service was on point. Portions well served. The lady that served us ( Griselda ),was very friendly and professional. Excellent recommendation for the dishes. Also she recommended to visit during the week for the happy hour on drinks. The staff was very professional. A must come back place.“

“Be ready to wait a bit ⏳, but trust me—it’s totally worth it! This place is hands down one of the best authentic Mexican seafood spots on the South Side of Chicago 🌮🦐🔥. The food comes out fresh every time, full of bold flavors and just the right level of spice 🌶️. You can really tell they put care into every dish.

The space is pretty small and cozy, so it can feel a little packed at times, but that just adds to the charm 😊. It’s definitely the kind of spot you go to for amazing food, not fancy seating.

My first experience was to celebrate my daughter's birthday in August, the next was a birthday celebration for my sister, and God willing, I will celebrate my birthday in May. But trust, I will not wait until my birthday to go, mainly because I don't live in Illinois, but because I frequent this state, Al Bahaar is on my list of stops & I encourage family and friends to join me! “This is by far the best JJ Fish in the city of Chicago!! The food is consistently fresh, and the staff is welcoming. I also came in to place an order on Super Bowl. Although it was busy and wait times for some were longer than usual… the staff maintained professionalism and supported customers as quickly as possible. I’d recommend this location to anyone!“

“The fee for byob was $10 which I think is a great price compared to other similar seafood restaurants. There was a waitlist of about 30mins but it was also a busy Sunday afternoon so that is to be expected. Service was attentive from not only our main server but the rest of the team as well. They were very accommodating to the various requests we had from extra items at the table to the volume of music. The food itself could have used minor changes like less or more of certain seasonings for certain dishes but maybe that’s just me and my preferences. Overall for our first time at this location we were left with a great impression and will likely be back again soon!“
