From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by extremely friendly staff who made us feel welcome right away. The service started off great and stayed that way the entire time. We were seated very quickly and didn’t have to wait long at all. The food came out fresh and hot, and no joke; everything we tried was extremely delicious. We decided to try a little bit of everything so we could really experience the menu. We ordered the oxtails, Alfredo pasta, lamb chops, fried catfish, rib tips, baked mac & cheese, and candied yams, and every single dish was on point. The flavors were incredible and everything was cooked perfectly. Another thing that really stood out was how clean the restaurant was. “The Griffin Museum of Science and Industry was an amazing experience with something memorable around every corner. The Spider-Man exhibit was a lot of fun, and the storm and airplane simulations made the science feel hands-on, exciting, and real.

The human specimen exhibition was not something I am into but it is interesting.

Another major highlight was walking through the full-sized United Airlines Boeing 727. It was especially meaningful to learn that the aircraft honors Captain William Norwood, United’s first Black pilot, and reflects the important legacy of Black achievement and representation in aviation. We visited during a Black pilots convention in August, along with a pilot there for the conference, which made that connection even more powerful and inspiring.

This museum blends interactive science, history, innovation, and powerful stories in a way that keeps visitors engaged. Definitely a five-star visit and well worth the time.“

Some of the veggies, like corn 🌽 and broccoli 🥦, were overcooked, which was a bit disappointing. Also, heads up—it’s really buttery 🧈, so if you’re watching that, keep it in mind. Overall, not terrible, but there’s definitely room for improvement in flavor and prep.“

I came before they were closing and he took care of me , I absolutely love JJ Fish & Chicken! Every time I go, I order the chicken tenders, and they are always fresh, hot, and perfectly seasoned. You can tell they take pride in the quality of their food. The customer service is excellent—everyone is friendly, welcoming, and quick to help. It’s hard to find a spot that consistently delivers great food and service, but JJ Fish & Chicken nails it every time. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for delicious food and a great experience!“

The night before was busy & loud and Azzy saw us come in right away - seated us in a quieter space & brought us exactly what we needed - good food, a glass of wine & a Guinness from the tap. Perfect.

Also, during our 3 day stay at the hotel - every breakfast was delicious and served by such caring, nice people. Easier to get the day started with service like that.

Beers on draft were great, and we had made it in time for happy hour pricing. Staff was attentive and very nice. The place is very spacious and on a upper level. There is an elevator for the handicap accessible, but make sure to ask for assistance!“

“We have been lucky to attend this hall on multiple occasions from a production company standpoint. The hall is not the best for sound reinforcement as you will need a separate rig pointed to where the main entrance is to ensure you will have even coverage for all patrons. However, it is a minor detail that with the right professional shouldn't be a problem. The catering was very good and the space looked very nice. Would recommend to anyone in the area looking for a nice event space.“
