From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by extremely friendly staff who made us feel welcome right away. The service started off great and stayed that way the entire time. We were seated very quickly and didn’t have to wait long at all. The food came out fresh and hot, and no joke; everything we tried was extremely delicious. We decided to try a little bit of everything so we could really experience the menu. We ordered the oxtails, Alfredo pasta, lamb chops, fried catfish, rib tips, baked mac & cheese, and candied yams, and every single dish was on point. The flavors were incredible and everything was cooked perfectly. Another thing that really stood out was how clean the restaurant was. Even the bathrooms were spotless, which always says a lot about a place. Great food, great service, and a clean environment; you can’t ask for much more than that. Hands down a 10/10 experience. Some of the veggies, like corn 🌽 and broccoli 🥦, were overcooked, which was a bit disappointing. Also, heads up—it’s really buttery 🧈, so if you’re watching that, keep it in mind. Overall, not terrible, but there’s definitely room for improvement in flavor and prep.“

“Very nice atmosphere. Our fish dishes were great! My Mrs had a chicken dish. One small piece of breast meat pounded thin with a few potatoes and some peas. It was not much of a serving at all, a bit dried out, and pretty pricey for this entree. The dessert service was just an assortment of shotglass-sized cheesecakes, etc. I'm not sure what we paid for them, but a shot glass-sized serving should pretty much be a gesture of thanks from the chef and the house. Drinks were good but again a bit pricey for the area.“

“My company moved a block away, and when I strike events I get back at 1-2am, so tonight I tried for first time coming back from downtown I usually stop at goose Island or I stop for a jew town polish Maxwell st, but didn't feel like stopping so I ordered the catfish nugget regular meal and it was incredible, highly recommend service was great the lemon pepper seasoning was fire came with fries and old school 2 pieces of white bread reminded me of getting from harolds chicken , next time I try the Wings. ;)“

“Pablo, our waiter, was exceptional. During our first visit here, he warmly welcomed us and showcased impressive knowledge of the menu, even extending to items not listed. He encouraged us to customize our meal to our liking, and he certainly delivered! For starters, we chose the grilled calamari and Rockefeller oysters. The calamari was tender and impeccably cooked, steering clear of the typical rubbery texture. Opting for balsamic instead of oil was a perfect choice. The oysters were superb, not overwhelmed with cheese. I ordered the veal picatta from the menu, expecting a thin slab, but was pleasantly surprised by the generous portion size. The angel hair pasta complemented the dish well, although I could have done without the mushrooms – a personal preference, which I should've mentioned. Nonetheless, if you're a mushroom enthusiast, they give you plenty. My boyfriend ordered off-menu, enjoying the Zuppe di Pesce with shrimp, clams, extra calamari, and rigatoni Diablo style in red sauce. It was absolutely amazing and satisfied his taste without being overly spicy. To accompany the meal, I had a glass of the house Chardonnay, which was light and buttery. Even my boyfriend, who doesn't typically drink wine, enjoyed it. Our heartfelt thanks to Pablo and the owner/chef Giovanni for an outstanding dining experience, both in terms of the meal and the service.“

The night before was busy & loud and Azzy saw us come in right away - seated us in a quieter space & brought us exactly what we needed - good food, a glass of wine & a Guinness from the tap. Perfect.

Also, during our 3 day stay at the hotel - every breakfast was delicious and served by such caring, nice people. Easier to get the day started with service like that.

“We have been lucky to attend this hall on multiple occasions from a production company standpoint. The hall is not the best for sound reinforcement as you will need a separate rig pointed to where the main entrance is to ensure you will have even coverage for all patrons. However, it is a minor detail that with the right professional shouldn't be a problem. The catering was very good and the space looked very nice. Would recommend to anyone in the area looking for a nice event space.“
