Lawrence's Fish & Shrimp, known for its amazing shrimp, offers a great taste with a nice updated interior. The Canal Street location has fast service, although be prepared for a wait during specials. The shrimp and catfish quality was okay, but some found it freezer burned. Despite this, it's still considered the best fried seafood in Chicago. On National frog leg day, some enjoyed the delicious frog legs. However, some customers have complained about the service from a rude staff member at the counter. Overall, the food quality is good, but the customer service could be improved.
