“Great food all around , great people“

“Ate here tonight and the food was wonderful. We had jerk turkey tips, jerk salmon and shrimp, yam, greens, cabbage, Mac and cheese and fried rice. Everything was tasty, hot, freshly made and spicy. The ladies were super friendly, helpful and provided great service. We will definitely be back to try other items. Ask about the specials that aren’t in the regular menu. Yum!“

“My husband seen the J*** Chicken and Shrimp Salad on a post and decided he wanted to try it. Let's just say it is FANTASTIC! We decided every other Friday this will be our lunch. I like the fact it's made to order so I don't mind the wait sooooo worth it! ?

They have a good assortment of cakes from local bakeries as well. I stop by this spot a lot but Sharks is pretty consistent with the quality and flavor around the Chicago area.It's that reliable place where I know I can find the flavors I crave, served with a side of warmth and familiarity. “Excellent in all areas! The risotto special was perfect and filling. The butternut squash ravioli in cream sauce was so tasty. Our waitress , Alex explained all the dishes expertly. “The atmosphere here is comfortably laid back, making it an easy place to settle in for a meal and a few drinks. The meat was excellent and easily the highlight for me, while the drink selection gave us plenty of options to choose from. It is a little more expensive than some similar places, but the quality of the food and the overall experience made the visit feel worthwhile.“

“Today was my first time there. The food is delicious my kids love it but I don’t feel I had the great service. First, we didn’t get the napkins and utensils on time but way after the food got there. A drink spilled on me (our fault) which made me realized there was no napkins provided, by the time we found the lady for napkins I was soaking wet. Then we were about to start eating and my children needed a fork, well no fork was provided. We ordered 3 seafood boils, no utensils for that were provided neither. My husband ordered an extra drink, never was it brought to us. I’m happy my kids enjoyed it, but we were not that pleased as we saw others being treated differently. Not sure if we will be returning.“

My first experience was to celebrate my daughter's birthday in August, the next was a birthday celebration for my sister, and God willing, I will celebrate my birthday in May. “Very nice atmosphere. Our fish dishes were great! My Mrs had a chicken dish. One small piece of breast meat pounded thin with a few potatoes and some peas. It was not much of a serving at all, a bit dried out, and pretty pricey for this entree. The dessert service was just an assortment of shotglass-sized cheesecakes, etc. I'm not sure what we paid for them, but a shot glass-sized serving should pretty much be a gesture of thanks from the chef and the house. Drinks were good but again a bit pricey for the area.“

“Was picking up chicken for the fellas for a NFL game watch gathering. Did not order in advance and wished I had, but that's on me. Chicken was great and you get 2 hot sauces (mild and hot) on the side. Place is clean and staff was great. Suggest placing your order in advance if you want to save the waiting time.“

My chicken was very tender and my shrimps were a nice size and cooked perfectly. I had it for lunch on Wednesday and then lunch Thursday and finished it off this afternoon. Worth every dollar.“

However, I want to specifically highlight a young man by the name of Dominick. I can’t say enough about Dominick. He possesses exemplary customer service skills. Every encounter I have had with him, he has been very courteous, very professional, very engaging and above all has gone the extra mile to accommodate my “special requests“. In addition, my most recent encounter, approximately two weeks ago, I could see the absolute joy he received when seeing how happy I was when he was, once again, able to Grant a special request for me. You just don’t see this level of customer service in the fast food industry. There just aren’t enough adjectives which adequately express how great of a representative Dominick is for DiCola’s.“

“Great small Thai business! The owner was very sweet and friendly and the food tasted great! I got the Shrimp Pad See Eiw (7 shrimps in it!) and Thai Egg Rolls. Definitely will be eating here again and excited to try some other dishes. 🙂“

“Food is flavorful. I loved the langostinos and the michelada. The restaurant layout is nice and spacious. It has a bar in the middle. However, this location is fairly new so you won't see many people here yet, so don't be discouraged to try out this place. We barely discovered it and it's so close to us! It's been open since January 2025.“

Mild complaint: the ingredient prep have rather large cuts? I.e. larger chunks of avocado, cucumber, etc. the result is less dispersed ingredients in the poke bowl.

Despite that, freshness of ingredients are great.“
