“Tried the jerk barbecue rib tips. I wasn't terribly fond of them but then I remembered they were JERK so I settled into the flavor. Next visit I tried the beef short ribs and they were very good with the sweet potatoes and the greens both also good. Last visit I tried the oxtails. They were incredible and I look forward to getting them again. The sweet potatoes were also delicious. However, this time the greens were extremely bland, but that won't stop me from going back.“
“Was looking for a Philly sandwich but Baba's was closed. Crossed the street and decided to try a burger since I've never eaten here. It's a shrimp spot but they have some interesting things on their menu. I picked the Diablo burger and he asked how I want it cooked (medium well, please)..and it was good! Will go back and work my way thru their menu. Will provide better pics next time.“
“Everyone in the town of Momence knows this, but if you are passing through, hit the brakes and pull in for the best popcorn ever!I absolutely love Cranky Mike's Popcorn! My favorite flavors are double cheddar, jalapeño cheddar and and dill. The Chicago area has some very famous popcorn, but Cranky beats them all!Of course they are not Cranky at all and you will find them to be very friendly with great service. There are so many flavors to delight the pallet and the corn is always fresh! Yum stuff! ?“
“I ordered 2 orders of egg rolls (philly steak & jerk chicken) to try them, and my daughter had the catfish dinner. I called in my order, and I had to call back to ask about sauces as I neglected to ask when ordering. I was informed they were just about to call me becasue they only had 2 jerk chicken egg rolls (a full order comes with 3) and wanted to know if I would be ok with having a Buffalo chicken egg roll as a substitute. I was super excited becaus that ment I could try 3 different flavors. These egg rolls were the best I've ever had... not greasy at all! The flavors OMG... I instantly started telling everyone to try them.... they were a hit all around... the sauces also... yummy (I apologize for forgetting the names)! My daughter informed me she did not care for the fish... she stated it tastes odd... I'm very picky about fish, so trying it was not an option for me. I would like to try their burgers later as I saw a review about them.... and definitely going back for them egg rolls! The inside is not very big ..... would be more appealing if they had seating added or bar tops... but it would probably be too cramped. They have a couple chairs up against the window, and that's it. It's very clean though and the phone exchange was very pleasant surprisingly because customer service is lacking in most of the restaurants in the area.Parking: Parking is not a problem as the lot is very large with people leaving often as most of the places in the strip don't require long term parking.“
