“Mimi was absolutely wonderful. She was very attentive. Making sure our order was correct before placing it. And making sure the food was up to my expectations before she left it. And her choosing my drink was on point. She is amazing and always smiling when she approaches. You need more bartenders/ servers like her.“
“Chill staff, quick service, good prices for the amount of food. The self service mil' sauce station is dope, haven't experienced that before. Missing 5th star only because I've had food at other locations that tasted a bit better (to me). This location is fine. Go support them.“
“We went for lunch and the New Orleans salmon with shrimp was fantastic!!! You have to try the lobster cream sauce on your baked potato. I added butter and it was perfect! My Pina colada was excellent too. Clean ladies bathroom too! Wait staff was great as well.“
“After 23 years away, LJS still resembles how I remember it, so it’s really good. But the staff at the Matteson, IL restaurant, is what is causing me to leave my first ever review. At first I thought the gentleman at the front counter that helped me just had to be the best of the crew, but as I sit here eating, an elderly lady came in, and I watched another crew member display them same awesome service. It has soo nice to just hear the upbeat professional attitudes with each other, and get great service. Thank you!“
“Great food, had the fried chicken ?. It was hot, crunchy on the outside, juicy on the inside. Cajun ?'s were hot but decent. Nice portion for the price. The lemon drop was made right!?Good vibe, our server Secret was amazing. DJ was just alright.Wheelchair accessibility: Single floor establishment no stairs!“
“It's been over a year since I've been to Red Snapper and I was pleasantly surprised and impressed. Surprised because my favorite cook was back and impressed by the food. He is not only a great cook, but the absolute sweetest and most professional individual you will ever meet! The food was fresh and cooked to perfection. If you're looking for some good food and service, try Red Snapper!“
“We enjoyed a lovely meal with delicious food and great service. Joe was our server and was very knowledgeable and attentive. The baked clams were exceptional and the raw oysters were so good! We had several appetizers and each ordered a meal. Zero complaints from us! The pork chop with Marsala mushrooms was amazing! Well done Vinny's, we'll be back!“
“We were warmly greeted by Chelsea when we arrived. We were seated at a cozy table toward the back of the restaurant. Frank Sinatra music was playing in the background. Our waitress Melissa brought us water to the table with the days specials. There is a good wine & cocktail selection. We started with the shrimp & calamari along with truffle fries for an appetizer. The shrimp & calamari were cooked perfectly while seasoned with the right amount of oil and garlic. The truffle fries garlic aoli sauce was very good, not overpowering. For dinner, we had chicken parmesan served with penne pasta as the side. The portion size was big. The chicken was cooked well, not overloaded with sauce and the right amount of cheese. The other dish order was the risotto of the day, shrimp & grape tomato. Highly recommend the risotto. It was cooked perfectly with big delicious shrimp mixed in with the risotto. As delicious as it was, room was being saved for dessert. Not many restaurants serve flourless chocolate cake, but Frankie's 1988 does. It is served with a carmel sauce, pecans, and vanilla gelato. I have had many flourless chocolate cakes in my life, and none compare to the one made at Frankie's. It is dense, almost like dark chocolate fudge that just melts in your mouth. They also have canolis, tirimisu, and an assortment of gelato. The staff was so nice, checking on us throughout our dinner, ensuring we were never out of water. Frankie introduced himself to us as we were leaving. We had to tell him how amazing the risotto was today. Frankie said that their kitchen is a scratch kitchen and will gladly make items not on the menu if the kitchen has the ingredients. Frankie's 1988 is a 5 Star restaurant nestled in a strip mall in Tinley Park.Dietary restrictions: Many gluten-free and vegetarian options are available.“
“Everything was on point! They made my aunt's 90th birthday special. My favorite dish is the Bang Bang Shrimp. It is shrimp with a kick. We had a problem and the staff took care of it immediately and made it right. This is one of my top ten restaurants!!!“
“This hidden gem reminds me of New Orleans style cafe.. good atmosphere, delicious food, great service. Although our waiter Jasmine seemed to have an attitude, I think maybe she was a lil overwhelmed w how busy it was. I'm definitely returning back to this establishment because it's so many delicious items I was try. I had the shrimp and grits, and when I tell you that cajun was ??, I started sweating immediately but it was sooo good!! The fried green tomatoes was a hit too. I believe this was an black owned restaurant“
