“Love this place - the chicken is always good. BUT if I order wings and ask for “mild sauce on the side” I only want mild sauce. I ordered 8 wings with mild sauce on the side and got 1 cup of mild sauce and 1 cup of hot sauce - I never asked for hot sauce so now I have 8 wings with 1 cup of sauce.“

“Today was my first time there. The food is delicious my kids love it but I don’t feel I had the great service. First, we didn’t get the napkins and utensils on time but way after the food got there. A drink spilled on me (our fault) which made me realized there was no napkins provided, by the time we found the lady for napkins I was soaking wet. Then we were about to start eating and my children needed a fork, well no fork was provided. We ordered 3 seafood boils, no utensils for that were provided neither. My husband ordered an extra drink, never was it brought to us. I’m happy my kids enjoyed it, but we were not that pleased as we saw others being treated differently. Not sure if we will be returning.“

“This is by far the best JJ Fish in the city of Chicago!! The food is consistently fresh, and the staff is welcoming. I also came in to place an order on Super Bowl. Although it was busy and wait times for some were longer than usual… the staff maintained professionalism and supported customers as quickly as possible. I’d recommend this location to anyone!“

“Ate here tonight and the food was wonderful. We had jerk turkey tips, jerk salmon and shrimp, yam, greens, cabbage, Mac and cheese and fried rice. Everything was tasty, hot, freshly made and spicy. The ladies were super friendly, helpful and provided great service. We will definitely be back to try other items. Ask about the specials that aren’t in the regular menu. Yum!“

“Food was great, customer service was less than great. No smiling faces, curt service. They have drinks but you wouldn't know if you didn't ask. Handed my husband his soda, he asked if they had straws and she slid him one. Why not ask if he wanted a straw? Won't go back, even though the shrimp were pretty good. I value service more than anything.“

Chicken was great and you get 2 hot sauces (mild and hot) on the side. Place is clean and staff was great. Suggest placing your order in advance if you want to save the waiting time.“

However, I want to specifically highlight a young man by the name of Dominick. I can’t say enough about Dominick. He possesses exemplary customer service skills. Every encounter I have had with him, he has been very courteous, very professional, very engaging and above all has gone the extra mile to accommodate my “special requests“. In addition, my most recent encounter, approximately two weeks ago, I could see the absolute joy he received when seeing how happy I was when he was, once again, able to Grant a special request for me. However, this location is fairly new so you won't see many people here yet, so don't be discouraged to try out this place. We barely discovered it and it's so close to us!
