“Love this place - the chicken is always good. BUT if I order wings and ask for “mild sauce on the side” I only want mild sauce. I ordered 8 wings with mild sauce on the side and got 1 cup of mild sauce and 1 cup of hot sauce - I never asked for hot sauce so now I have 8 wings with 1 cup of sauce.“

“Captain Hook’s Fish & Chicken is so good and always hits the spot. The food is always fresh, flavorful, and just flat-out better than anywhere else. They’re always open when I need them, and the taste is consistently amazing every time. I literally drive 30 minutes just to come here, and that should tell you everything. I have a Sharks Fish & Chicken near my house and it does not compare at all. Captain Hook’s is on a whole different level.“

“Today was my first time there. The food is delicious my kids love it but I don’t feel I had the great service. First, we didn’t get the napkins and utensils on time but way after the food got there. A drink spilled on me (our fault) which made me realized there was no napkins provided, by the time we found the lady for napkins I was soaking wet. Then we were about to start eating and my children needed a fork, well no fork was provided. We ordered 3 seafood boils, no utensils for that were provided neither. My husband ordered an extra drink, never was it brought to us. I’m happy my kids enjoyed it, but we were not that pleased as we saw others being treated differently. Not sure if we will be returning.“

However, I want to specifically highlight a young man by the name of Dominick. I can’t say enough about Dominick. He possesses exemplary customer service skills. Every encounter I have had with him, he has been very courteous, very professional, very engaging and above all has gone the extra mile to accommodate my “special requests“. In addition, my most recent encounter, approximately two weeks ago, I could see the absolute joy he received when seeing how happy I was when he was, once again, able to Grant a special request for me. You just don’t see this level of customer service in the fast food industry. There just aren’t enough adjectives which adequately express how great of a representative Dominick is for DiCola’s.“

Handed my husband his soda, he asked if they had straws and she slid him one. Why not ask if he wanted a straw? Won't go back, even though the shrimp were pretty good. We had to ask more than once for napkins, to go containers and bags. At another location, I didn't have to wait long and I got two refills at a time. But at this location, it was one refill at a time and it took a long time.“

“Visited from STL and this time the owner was there. Very chill laid back good time. This particular night they had karaoke, which was fun. The bartenders are friendly and know how to pour. Shavon kept the drinks coming! The owner is hands on, friendly professional and made sure to show us out of towners hospitality. After a few dances and drinks we ordered food to go. This spot is always on a list even if it’s a short visit. Stop by for a mature crowd and a good time.“

“I've been going here since 2000. They've changed ownership since then but I still enjoy going here. Food is always made fresh as you order. After a certain time I'd evening only the drive thru is available for service but that's fine, still the food is great.“

However, this location is fairly new so you won't see many people here yet, so don't be discouraged to try out this place. We barely discovered it and it's so close to us! “The tacos are small, authentic and delicious. Good enough for me to order two to go. Except they didnt make my to-go tacos the same. It had too much cheese. The host/bartender/waitress did not speak English and most of the food on the menu didnt exist. I wanted chicken quesadillas and she shook her head no. I wasn't sure if she didn't have chicken quesadillas or no quesadillas at all. I asked about other items on the menu and she smiled and frowned at the same time. So I ordered chicken tacos to simplify things. It took a lot to get her attention. She gravitated to the guys in my party. Little did she know, they weren't paying or tipping. The classic margarita with the red margarita salt was delicious. Lastly, there was a couple dinning at a table near by filming me and my friends. I'll be fine if I don't revisit this restaurant.“
