“I must say, I was pleasantly surprised by my visit to Shrimp Shack in Munster! I ordered the catfish and shrimp combo, which came with fries and bread.
The catfish was definitely the star of the meal! The fillet was a great size and fried to perfection at least to my liking. 😋 The shrimp was pretty average, but still good. The fries were cooked extra crispy, which may be perfect for someone who loves a good crunch.
The bread was a little hard, and I’m guessing that may have been because it was placed directly on top of the hot fish.
I also really liked the nice decor and clean lobby area, and the customer service I received was friendly and welcoming. Another plus was that the wait wasn’t long at all!
I’m not sure how much business they normally get, but in my opinion, Shrimp Shack is a good spot for a quick bite to eat. Overall, the food was good, the service was friendly, the restaurant was clean, and that catfish was the highlight for me! ⭐⭐⭐⭐“
