Customer service horrible! The person at the register and cook were combative when I told them it was the wrong order and I was allergic to shrimp so there’s no way I would order shrimp. They said I should have checked the receipt right away and they refused a refund.
The service was horrible they are so slow they brought out three customers food and I still had to wait
This is the worst Sharks in Gary. How does a restaurant that specializes in fish constantly run out of fish... particularly catfish????! This isn’t a one or two time occurrence. This is so often that a purchaser must call ahead to make sure they even have fish!!! Trust me... no one in this city is buying so much fish that they run out in 6 hours. The manager even made sure that school staff and kids were well taken care of. The Regular Cook is awesome, and the ladies that work in the evening are awesome. One customer noted a clear difference in the atmosphere when a dedicated employee started, describing her as an extremely attractive woman with an inner beauty who is always friendly, polite, and extremely professional, dedicated to multi-tasking. However, service can be very iffy; some customers ask for certain condiments and often it gets ignored, with the staff sometimes arguing about the request. The fish each time always seems under cooked, and some wish they wouldn't have breaded the fries. Despite this, the food is very good when done correctly. The restaurant is a good place to grab a bite to eat for takeout or dine in, and one customer has been eating from there two years in a row for a family reunion, finding the service fantastic and the food terrific.
