I had 6 raw oysters along with the Deep Fried Catfish and my son had a Crab Cake appetizer and Shrimp linguine. Some of the best seafood I’ve had in a while. Even better than the food was the service. I have problems with spicy food due to chemo and Ciara, our server, went out of her way to check the spice level of the food I had ordered. “We have Been at Theo’s at least 20 times in the last 3 years. The first time was the best and last night was the last. Food was a lot better 3 years ago. The staff seemed like they cared about you buying the right or the best value, Last night we were ripped off. David was our server. Telling how great the specials were with out telling us the price. My wife wanted seafood not steak. So we ordered her the seafood crab legs, lobster tail and shrimp. Crab legs tasted like they were frozen for a long time, the lobster was Tuff. “A friend recommended Las Jacarandas for great Mexican food in the area. We ordered a ton of items to take out. Was not disappointed whatsoever! Tried an assortment of items (chile relleno dinner, variety of tacos such as beef, fish, steak, pork, chorizo, chicken mole) and everything was excellent! The sides (rice, refried beans) and the sauces were all excellent and better than any other Mexican restaurant. Cannot wait to eat in next time!..This place rocks!!“

“We were a group of 9; 6 adults & 3 children looking for a more sit-down place to eat when the owner talked us into staying telling us we would not be disappointed, and we were not. Their menu had a huge variety of food to choose from, and all of us thought the food was great! I had French toast, hash browns & sausage. My husband had an awesome shrimp omlette that had more shrimp on it than anywhere else we have ever eaten that put shrimp in its breakfast. We lived in Thailand, and this is like popping into one of the local corner places in Bangkok. We will definitely return!“

“I must say, I was pleasantly surprised by my visit to Shrimp Shack in Munster! I ordered the catfish and shrimp combo, which came with fries and bread.
The catfish was definitely the star of the meal! The fillet was a great size and fried to perfection at least to my liking. 😋 The shrimp was pretty average, but still good. The fries were cooked extra crispy, which may be perfect for someone who loves a good crunch.
The bread was a little hard, and I’m guessing that may have been because it was placed directly on top of the hot fish.
I also really liked the nice decor and clean lobby area, and the customer service I received was friendly and welcoming. Another plus was that the wait wasn’t long at all!
I’m not sure how much business they normally get, but in my opinion, Shrimp Shack is a good spot for a quick bite to eat. Overall, the food was good, the service was friendly, the restaurant was clean, and that catfish was the highlight for me! ⭐⭐⭐⭐“

There was a generous portion of fries, which were pretty good too. The catfish was done fairly well, with a good level of breading that didn’t overwhelm the catfish texture or flavor. I brought my grandmother and she wanted to split her meal with someone who wasn't able to come to the restaurant in person, so they brought out half of her meal and waited until we were almost done with the other half freshly made and packaged! Lake perch was great! Not like other restaurants that try to serve ocean perch as lake perch. The Nashville hot chicken strips were a little disappointing they didn't have any heat to them, but the chicken was cooked perfectly and the breading was really good so it made up for it!
