“Huge fan and eater of Dave’s HC. My usual is the medium slider and fries. It’s honestly the best and most consistent chicken spot (of which there are many) in Highland. Love you Dave’s, I’ll be there again soon! 😂”

“I don’t often leave reviews but this was one of the best meals I have had in a very long time. It was the day before Valentines and it was busy. We were greeted and checked in by what I presume is a son or family member. So polite and attentive even at a young age. Our table wasn’t ready so the hostess personally walked us to the bar. When the bartender was busy the hostess took the time to get us glasses of wine while we waited. Again, it was busy but we sat in beautiful ambience while we waited for our appetizer of hummus, tzatziki and spicy whipped feta (which was my absolute favorite). They also served us bread made in house which was like little bites of heaven. My husband had the avgolemono soup which was uniquely served and delicious. We both got the souvlaki- my husband the chicken and I got the filet. We each tried each others and both were so flavorful. I purposefully did not finish my meal so I could enjoy it the next day as well. We have already discussed what we will try next time we come back, and we will. To sum it up (and I hope google translated it correctly) Katapliktikós (Amazing)!”

“My server Irene was nice and very attentive. She suggested a couple of entrees. The Billionaires Bacon Burger was satisfying and the Sweet Potato Fries were delicious!! The Pineapple Habanero Wings were a solid 10/10. They also have the coldest Draft Beers I've ever had so that's definitely a plus. The atmosphere was comfortable. I genuinely recommend you give them a try.”

“Anthony, Eric and Brittany were amazing. I had never ordered boba before so I was CLUELESS and my grandson (5) wanted a drink. They were so patient and helpful explaining all the drinks to me and helping my grandson decide which flavor he would like. Eric even talked to my daughter on my speakerphone to try to figure out which drink would be best!! We watched Brittany roll the ice cream which was “awesome” for my grandson. These 3 kids are wonderful assets to your business. I will definitely be back to get some ramen with my family. I was shocked when I walked in and saw all the beautiful desserts you had displayed-everything looked delicious!! Highly recommend!!”

“Happened upon this delightful coffee shop today while visiting a nearby business. Tucked away behind Hearts in Motion on 41 it was a pleasant surprise. I enjoyed the Pistachiomallow Latte which was delicious. It is worth the effort to drive past a few other coffee establishments to get to Twin Beans Coffee. I will be back.”

“I come here every week or so with my 3yo nephew and it’s our favorite spot. We’ll get some pizza, maybe something from the salad bar or mac and cheese or soup from inside the Whole Foods, and grab some food and I’ll get a drink from the bar. They have a bunch of card and board games to play while you’re there. I also love the outdoor seating in the summer; they have a tv outside too to catch the game, as well as two tvs inside. Matt is amazing and knowledgeable about the drinks and food, and is very kind to us. We truly look forward to seeing him on our visits. Highly recommend to anyone who wants some good food, drinks, and vibes! :)”

We came here on Thursday evening, a real spur-of-the-moment thing and weren’t disappointed. This time I ordered the walleye pike & found it delicious. Two big filets of it which I enjoyed thoroughly. My husband got the frog legs as usual; neither of us went away hungry & loved everything. “We initially came to La Carreta Restaurant & Bar in Schererville with a BIG group for a surprise party, so the seating situation was a little daunting at first. My family of four simply wanted to enjoy dinner and leave, and after a little confusion and negotiation, the staff graciously allowed us to have our own table. Once that was settled, it was smooth sailing!

We immediately ordered two strawberry margaritas and one lime margarita on the rocks. They were made perfectly—exactly what we were hoping for! 😊

Our family ordered two Texas steak, chicken & shrimp fajitas, three shrimp tacos, and a Texas Burrito loaded with everything. The steak was tender, the shrimp was juicy, and the chicken was seasoned to perfection. The flavor of the food was unmatched compared with similar restaurants in the area. Everything was absolutely delicious! I was only able to capture a picture of the fajitas, but trust me, everything was flavorful.

Our waiter, Jaime, was wonderful—truly one of the best servers we’ve had in a very long time. He was attentive, personable, and made the experience feel welcoming and memorable.

Needless to say, we will be back! The atmosphere was clean, organized, and family-friendly. We truly appreciate all of the accommodations and hospitality!”

“This place is going downhill fast. I emailed Aurelios in Schererville about an experience 3 wks ago they NEVER got back to me.... we take my mom here every time we visit her. We've had issues yesterday 5.12.24 and the time before as well. I complained about getting the cookie my mom loves because it was brought to the table and was entirely melted ice cream and whip cream so melted you could pour it like water. Yesterday the pizza was entirely burnt and so hard . If they do something wrong and you complain about it believe you will pay for it if you return. This was our pizza yesterday that we asked them to cut in squares. Happy Mother's day to us.”

“We ordered the cod dinner on 1/29 and it was delicious. However, when we sat down in a booth we noticed an elderly lady struggling to walk up the icy sidewalk from the parking lot. When the young man brought our food we told him about it and suggested someone spread salt on the area. He was nice and thanked us for mentioning it. However, in the 45 minutes we sat there no one followed through and actually salted the sidewalk. Not good, Culvers.”

“This place was great before they closed,i dont know what happened but i wont be back.After waiting a little more then an hour on a not so busy saturday afternoon, and asking several times about our order,our waiter disappeared and we had to get the manager. She then brings our order herself and it was pathetic,un eatable. So she apoligized and we keft without eating and went to another restuarant. So after that i wouldnt go back,but i did and turns out they just had a bad day and i happened to be there for it. I'm glad i went back because they have always had good food and great prices and wonderful service and i was wrong to jump the gun on this,they are still good,one of the few in the county,i drive out of my way to dine here,its worth it!”
