“Excellent place to get an Italian beef. Probably the best place around honestly. Far more hospitable and “family vibe” than Portillo’s. No diss on Portillo’s food, but I think Buona just does it better with dine-in service. Love coming here.“

“We ordered the cod dinner on 1/29 and it was delicious. However, when we sat down in a booth we noticed an elderly lady struggling to walk up the icy sidewalk from the parking lot. When the young man brought our food we told him about it and suggested someone spread salt on the area. He was nice and thanked us for mentioning it. However, in the 45 minutes we sat there no one followed through and actually salted the sidewalk. Not good, Culvers.“

Filthy floors bathroom and the garbage cans were all overflowing with everything from beverages to food and ketchup all over the place. this is so hard to believe that the place has been open a little longer than 1 year and looks like that. stay away go to merrillville location because they actually do keep it super clean.“

“Hello, I was so excited when I heard Canes was coming to Schereville! I visit 2-3 times a week. However, I visited there last night, 8/30/26. I ordered the Combo Box after patiently waiting. Drove off, opened my Box! No bread, no Coleslaw, a ton of salt on the fries. The salt disgust me the most. I got the feeling someone who prepared that food, should have stayed home for the day perhaps. I still gave you five stars because that’s usually not the case, but worth noting! I’ll be back, maybe!“

“Came through the drive thru Saturday evening late....about a half hour before they closed. The girl who took our order was so sweet and polite. It was nice to hear someone be so kind and seem to love their job still so much despite all the craziness going on with places being short staffed. Our food was all correct and hot. I told the girl how she made my day and she was so thankful...definitely a great employee and someone they need to keep around. Keep up the good work!!“

“Busy location but easy to find. Used the drive thru to order. Team members were quick, polite, and accurate. Food was warm and delicious. I thoroughly enjoyed my chicken sandwich with extra mayonnaise!

“The schererville subway has done it again. Constantly raising the bar for the rest of the subways in NWI. It such a coincidence the same young man from last time made my sandwich. Super sweet, acted as if he knew me personally. The Dr. Pepper and sandwiches were amazing as usual. Even got two! Will come again “
