“My wife and I love going to portillos, tonight we went there and the place was in terrible disarray! Filthy floors bathroom and the garbage cans were all overflowing with everything from beverages to food and ketchup all over the place. this is so hard to believe that the place has been open a little longer than 1 year and looks like that. stay away go to merrillville location because they actually do keep it super clean.“

“The sandwich was really good very flavorful, and the sauce is really good however the potato did not have a lot of toppings on there so it would have been a little bit better if they had a little bit more on there because the potato is not seasoned just by itself. Overall I give it a 8 out of 10.“

“Went in not too long ago on a Saturday for lunch, from the time we walked in, The owners greeted us with a smile and were very personable, which is a lost art these days, so we were very comfortable from the get go, at that time we had multiple questions about the menu and AGAIN the owners explained every question we had in detail with no fluff, I ordered Italian Wedding Soup which is the BEST I’ve ever eaten, and finished with The Mostro… Great big portions and the food itself was amazing, we finished with desert and when we got the bill… again we was pleasantly surprised… I recommend to the highest powers that be that Ammirato’s Meatball Cafe is a hidden Gem and will definitely return for a different item on the menu“

“My husband and I dine at Bibibop often. The restaurant serves the freshest, healthiest food in our area...all gluten free. A server helps you build your own bowl full of veggies and protein. None of the food is processed. We met Bryant Carter, the catering coordinator tonight. What a pleasant young man! He was super friendly and customer oriented. My husband and I like Bibibop so much we researched buy stock in the company, but it's privately owned.“

“We were greeted quite rudely by Lisa, the hostess, which set a negative tone from the start. She was even rude to the waitresses while seating us, and we couldn’t believe the attitude. We remember Kathy months ago being a pleasure but haven't seen her last few weeks.

However, once we were greeted by Heather, Courtney, and Hannah, everything changed. They were warm, friendly, and truly a pleasure. Their professionalism and positivity completely turned the evening around and made our experience enjoyable — a real tour de force.

We didn’t have to ask for anything. Everything ran very smoothly. She was very sweet very kind. She definitely deserves extreme recognition. “When we first moved to NWI, we first visited Pops when they were located closer to Jewel. At first, when we ordered our beef juicy, the beef was still dry. Over the years, they have gotten better. The beef is juicy, tender, and tasty. So juicey that now, they wrap your beef and then put your wrapped beef inside a plastic bag for take out orders. The beef here is much better than the overrated beef sandwich at Portillos. The large order of fries is enough to share.“
