“Doug was patient, cordial, very attentive. My mom, 96, has not been out for a meal in 5 yrs. Doug made this a pleasant experience for the 4 of us. Comfortable sitting, great comfortable noise level, not crowded sitting( we had a wheelchair), food excellent. Pork shoulder outstanding. No stickiness on anything. Best day/meal ever! Thank u Doug”

She put me at ease and demonstrated that understood what to do!! Other places have given me grief over this, and its been frustrating. “We typically love it here. However, we had an easily avoidable issue yesterday. The app only allows the "call ahead" for up to 6. We had a party of 12. So, we called the location to ask if they could accommodate a party of 12. We kept getting placed on hold by 3 different employees only to be told they can't give a time estimate until we are physically there (15+minutes btw of employee after employee). Okay, we pack up and head there. After arriving we are told they can't even sit the 12 of us together and it's a 1.5 hour wait. What a WASTE of OUR time. I understand the wait is based on the customer traffic. But if you guys know you can't sit 12 together, TELL US OVER THE DAM PHONE!!!!!!”

“Absolutely amazing! I don't normally make a habit of eating from a restaurant inside a gas station but I'm SO glad I looked at the reviews and gave this place a try. I had the best burrito I've ever had! This place was incredibly clean and they make your food right in front of you. I also appreciated the great service and friendliness of Keenan and Manager Bay. I will definitely be back when I'm in the area again! For reference - I ordered the carne asada burrito without beans and added avocado (pictured).”

Tonight my mom in law and I split a slab! 🔥🔥 I'm a "tester" of ribs...and believe me when I say....I will ALWAYS be going for these EVERY time! NO sauce needed!! (And besides....I'll be supporting my son while he works there 😍). We met the owner, he asked how we enjoyed our time. “We went to Johns in Dyer and had a fabulous experience. We went for my birthday. 4 adults and eight grandchildren. The food was amazing and the service was awesome and the boys making the pizzas were so nice to the kids. The kids were watching through the window and the cooks were interacting with the kids. They had a blast and are already talking about how they want to go back. We will be definitely visiting Johns soon! Thank you all so much for the wonderful food and wonderful and friendly service!!!”

“We got brunch for the first time and it was better than expected! The pancakes were the best we’ve ever had, and they give you warm syrup on the side. The biscuits and gravy was delicious. The tater tots were crispy and seasoned SO well; the waitress said they’d be the best we’ve ever had, and she was right! They even have a bar so you can get mimosas. The restaurant was clean and they played great music. We will definitely be back!”

“We ordered two family size pizzas from Beggars Pizza and they were fantastic. One was sausage, pepperoni, and jalapeño (crispy), and the other was sausage (crispy). Both pizzas were cooked perfectly; crispy crust, well-balanced toppings, and great flavor in every bite. Everything tasted fresh and was done just right. We were very happy with our order and will definitely be ordering again!”
