“Doug was patient, cordial, very attentive. My mom, 96, has not been out for a meal in 5 yrs. Doug made this a pleasant experience for the 4 of us. Comfortable sitting, great comfortable noise level, not crowded sitting( we had a wheelchair), food excellent. Pork shoulder outstanding. No stickiness on anything. Best day/meal ever! Thank u Doug“

“The food here is delicious! The menu is huge. If you’re wanting something a little lighter you can opt for a yummy chicken chop salad. We ended up getting the Italian beef and the Ruben. Both are excellent. The Ruben is the best Ruben I have ever eaten in my entire life hands-down you must get! We also had a vanilla shake and the large sizes are ginormous . The food servings are very generous, everything is very shareable. They even have an area where you can grab a beer if you’d like. The restaurant has a large sitting area and there is a covered back patio. Service is excellent and the restaurant very clean. A great place to stop!“

The Reuben was to die for!! As was the beef sandwich. We also loved the fries. Thank you Jim for making the food for our 30th anniversary party . I would highly recommend using them for all of your catering needs. And if you are in Thorton, pick up lunch. You won’t regret it.“

“So all of NWI lost power on Tuesday, and I went in on Wednesday to place an order to go. Everyone there was amazing they were working hard, all the waiters and all the cooks, the ones answering the phones and taking orders was doing a fabulous job on Wednesday, way to go Olive Garden in highland. You guys came together to make sure they ur customers were happy, they also had customers in there charging there phones,and they didn’t tell them to go or anything.“

“I have ordered Rosati's pizza delivery many times. Delivery was excellent however our pizza tonight was definitely not up to the regular standards. The crust was soggy, it was light on sauce, and could have cooked a few minutes more. I will continue to order Rosati pizza as I feel it is the best in the area. Maybe just a difficult night for the cook.“

They stopped taking orders shortly after we placed an order from who busy that they were. Employees were busting their butts trying to keep up with everyone and handled it very well. I was a bit concerned that our food was going to take a bit longer than their estimated time but it actually came out exactly when they said. She apologized for the wait and was so kind. And even with the crazy day that they were having, food came out delicious!! If they can handle a day like that, I think it's safe to say that this location has a solid group of people working there!“

And only staying open til 9? I get it, times are tight and you gotta do what you need to stay alive. It just makes it hard to plan your day with the limited availability. I highly recommend the place, great tavern style pizza. A little pricey but worth it!“

“Visited Mr Brown’s in Chicago Heights with my wife and ordered the 6-piece mixed chicken meal with fries and corn fritters as sides. The chicken was juicy inside and crispy outside, not greasy at all. Fries were perfectly cooked and the corn fritters were sweet and flavorful. You can tell the food is made fresh. The guys there were so nice and helpful, very satisfying meal overall.“
