“I've been coming to Rosati’s Pizza in Matteson for over 6 years now, and they’ve never disappointed. The food is consistently delicious — from the perfectly crispy thick crust pizzas to the hearty pastas and sandwiches, everything is always fresh and flavorful. The staff is friendly, the service is quick, and the quality has remained solid over the years. Whether I’m picking up or getting delivery, I can always count on Rosati’s to hit the spot. Definitely one of my go-to places in the area!“

“I usually trust Olive Garden because it’s a nationwide chain with very consistent food quality. We were driving from Chicago to central Illinois today, got hungry, saw this location along the way, and decided to stop.

The food itself was exactly what I expected from Olive Garden. The taste was consistent with every other location I’ve visited, so I have no complaints about the food.

Unfortunately, almost everything else was disappointing.

First, the restaurant wasn’t very clean. I know Olive Garden locations aren’t always spotless, but this one was noticeably worse. The tables, chairs, and even the utensils all felt like they could have been cleaned much more thoroughly.

Second, our bill was incorrect. We were charged for two dishes that we never ordered. Fortunately, the server corrected the mistake as soon as I pointed it out.

Third, the order of service was completely disorganized. Our entrees arrived before our drinks, and our salad and soup didn’t come until after the main courses. Normally, you would expect drinks first, then breadsticks, followed by salad and soup, and finally the entrees. The whole meal felt out of sequence.

Finally, the service was extremely slow. It took about 25 minutes before our server even came over to greet us. To be fair, the server himself was polite, apologized sincerely every time we mentioned an issue, and fixed the problems promptly. I don’t blame him personally—it seemed more like a management or staffing issue than an individual employee problem.

Overall, the food met the Olive Garden standard, but the cleanliness, billing error, slow service, and disorganized dining experience made this one of the weaker Olive Garden locations I’ve visited.“

“This place is the whole package! From the second you step onto the property to walking in and the hostess immediately greeting you with a smile. Check in is seamless and reservations are withheld to the tea (no waiting). As you walk through the inside, everyone greets you. Celebrating a special occasion? Note it on your reservation and they have cute cards on the table wishing you the best. Alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks are prepared phenomenally and waitstaff bring them as they are done. Appetizers? Mozzarella sticks are cheese pull galore, mini meatballs are beyond with the crostinis, and let's just say you can't go wrong with the margarita pizza. Entrees that stand out have been the lasagna, chicken limone, chicken parmesan and pasta with vodka sauce (don't forget to add a protein). Additionally, there's a kids menu and it is truly kid friendly. Don't skip dessert! Whatever you choose you won't be disappointed. My personal favorite is the crème brûlée with a shot of espresso on the side. Only downside of this place is not knowing when we have something special to celebrate again so we can go back, maybe to even dine outside!“

“I come from an Italian family so love the food, but put Gatto’s up there as one of the best Italian restaurants I have ever been to!!! I had the chicken Milano and my partner had the carbonara and both were fabulous!! Met the owners/ daughter and mom. So very sweet and funny too. Our server was Candy. She was working very hard on a busy Valentine’s Day. I had the lasagna and I can honestly say it was the best lasagna I’ve ever had in my life! The ricotta filling was so whipped and light. It was just delightful and so delicious. The bomba ice cream was scrumptious! Cannot wait to return to this gem of a restaurant!! 🇮🇹“

“Their pizza is delicious. My family loves pizza. We have tried many is the surrounding area and nothing compares to Guardi's. It has become a staple for take out in my house. Their service is great (I have never arrived and had to wait for my order) and the employees have always been extremely friendly and sufficient. It's worth giving them a try.“

“I had a catered event on October 2nd. The food was excellent!! Especially the Italian beef and Mac and cheese. Went to drop off stuff snd decided to have lunch since we were there. The Reuben was to die for!! As was the beef sandwich. We also loved the fries. Thank you Jim for making the food for our 30th anniversary party . I would highly recommend using them for all of your catering needs. And if you are in Thorton, pick up lunch. You won’t regret it.“

It's still an amazing pizza and the (owner?) who I've interacted with a couple times recently has been incredibly inviting when you enter his business, super friendly. That's great but like I said, the pizza is outstanding! I love supporting the small guy. If you haven't given them a try, do it. You won't be disappointed! “As I walked in the cashier was too busy playing a game on her phone. She acted as if I was disturbing her. Anyway now to the pizza I ordered a small pizza with 4 toppings, extra cheese and sauce. It was 30 dollars a couple of the toppings was a double charge. They told me 40 minutes. I've never waited that long for a pizza but okay. It wasn't definitely no extra cheese and sauce. I must say it was delicious. Just a few things rubbed me the wrong way so I'm not sure if I will try it again“

So,the husband and I went here for the second time in two months ,and since everything was absolutely amazing just like the first time I had to write a review,of course the staff is amazing ,today Jenny was our server and literally did not miss a beat ,very attentive and engaging,You walk in and the atmosphere is so comfy and cozy,it's a great place to go when you want to just melt into the surroundings, he got the chicken cacciatore and a salad with Caesar dressing and I got the chicken picatalta,salid with creamy garlic dressing,I chose a loaded baked potato and a delicious cream of chicken soup,these plates were huge !! Oh n let's not forget the two two whole laofs of bread with oil ,seasonings and Parmesan cheese that no one can get enough of.
