“I love this place! The chicken Marsala is incredible! We also had eggplant roll acting as an appetizer, linguine with clams, gnocchi and manicotti! All great and we all have dinner for tomorrow! Service is great and always like talking to the owner, who makes you feel like you are his personal guests! Only suggestion for improvement is to assign the waitstaff to one area! This happened last time too. The servers are running all over! Be a little kinder to them. They work so hard!“

“My wife and I went for a date night and it was exquisite. Raw oysters, shrimp cocktail and beet salad to start, followed by the 4 cheese ravioli ala Sinatra vodka sauce and penne w/ pesto and fresh mozz. We shared a double cut pork chop with polenta and peas, truffle creamed corn on the side. We couldn't stop eating, sooo good! Great food, great drinks, great people! Vinny's is a gem. Fuggetaboutit! ?“

“I'm working my way towards trying everything on their menu. Have not had any disappointments. My whole family can always find something they like here. The new location is just a stones throw from the old one. They were out of the veal parm today 4/27, but plenty of other options. Tell Chris or Dom that Big Tim sent you.Parking: There is additional parking across 147th street.“
“My son and his family brought a huge box of your mouthwatering items to me here in Wisconsin. I was born and raised in Chicago so I was use to good Italian food and I really missed it until I received yours. It was THE BEST SURPRISE EVER. AMAZING. Thank you.?❤️“

“Omg this was our first time there Saturday and this pizza is so delicious ?. We ordered the thin crust chicken sausage and Jalapeno's. The pizza barely made it home!! Seasoned well nice crispy thin crust. Reminds me of Italian fiesta pizza. We will definitely be back. It's take out only. But if you wanna eat and watch the game it's connected to a cool bar. We had a couple drinks while waiting for our pizza. 9/10“

“Born and raised on Sanfratello’s in Glenwood. I will say it is pretty close to the original. Very difficult to replicate old ovens and pans, but they are doing a pretty darn good job! I recommend for sure, especially if you’ve had the original!“

“JOE'S-A TRUE MOM+POP RESTAURANT! I am a purist when it comes to pizza. Cracker thin crust w/ mild homemade sauce + Italian sausage, top it w/ith a generous heap of mozzarella cheese, then cook it well done in an old school pizza oven. Walla - I present to you the most delicious thin crust pizza you will ever taste. Joe's Villa offers other fare but their pizza is my go to. And a large 14" pizza is under $20. If Reenie is your server, tell her Youraverage Gourmet says hello!“

“I ordered a pizza, side of mushrooms and Caesar's salad. Overall, pizza was on the dry side. Crust was crispy and chewy. It could have had more toppings, but based on price point, I got what I paid for. Mushrooms were amazing and for the price, you get a lot. Caesar's salad? Don't waste your money. Doesn't look anything like the photo. Basically, lettuce with 10 small croutons. The parm cheese was from a can and not shaved. Definitely not worth $13. I would get another pizza from them, but would make my own salad.“

“10/10!!! I’m fairly new to the neighborhood and I was very hungry after getting off work and I decided today would be the day I finally try the restaurant I ride past often! I ordered a chicken Philly and it was soooooo delicious! I came back to my car to wait on my order and talk with my husband and while waiting, one of the employees was kind enough to bring my food to the car!!! Sooo thoughtful and unexpected. I will def be back and I cannot wait to try the pizza!“

“The food as usual was fabulous. The waitress was really only there to take an order and everything else was a struggle which made for an unpleasant experience. We asked a random bus boy for bread. She was awful. ? But that's not the usual there so it's definitely worth the trip.“

“An Olive Garden is an Olive Garden. Admittedly, if you're eating in one in the Chicago area, it's probably a matter of convenience and price/familiarity. In my case it was both of those, and not having the time to find a top-shelf Italian restaurant. However, overall this is a better than average Olive Garden in my experience, hence the 5 star.Staff is very attentive, even when it is close to the closing hour. The food is timely in preparation. Nothing was wrongly prepared per the menu or specifications for an OG. When it was asked, they even paid attention to my "Please don't bring me extra bread. I don't know when to stop" request on the first statement, which I appreciate. (No, seriously, I don't. I could inhale their breadsticks in the dozens. I know they're not that good but I just can't help myself. Why do you few loyal readers think most of my reviews are restaurants? Hah.) Prices are exactly as you expect: $20-30 a head unless you're getting fancy.Atmosphere is solid for a small family gathering, and the layout is your standard OG, but it's kept clean and well maintained in all sections of the restaurant. So, if you're specifically looking for an OG (Which I am usually not, but sometimes you get what you gotta get), this one's worth keeping in mind when you're having that inevitable "Let's not go to THAT one. Let's go to the good one."This is the good one.“

“On a journey to the Village of Matteson to retrieve lost treasures, we stopped for sustenance of the Olive Garden. The kids were hungry, and I was tired. After an enjoyable meal, we ventured onward to find the lost treasure.Kid-friendliness: They had crayons and games for my kids.“

“The pizza is really good! Moving forward I will not order anything else from here. Their mozzarella cheese is not good in their appetizers or the god mother sandwich. The sandwich felt like it was just a chicken tender in the bread with the mozzarella cheese.“

“1st time visitor and great experience. Rosario food is generally excellent but it’s the support staff that makes the difference. I got up from the bar and didn’t realize my wallet fell on the floor. Upon my return from the bathroom my wallet was on the bar waiting for me with a smile from the assistant GM.“

“I love aurelios, this one has a beautiful facade and interior. It's has a welcoming family feel and it's always a positive environment. The staff is friendly and like always their pizza is delicious. I'd highly recommend the lunch buffet it's a great price with salads, soups, and I think rotating dishes. When we went it was friend chicken, Italian beefs, and Alfredo pasta. Side note: the Italian beef here is surpringly good, definitely the best in the area worth it to go just for that.Vegetarian options: Cheese pizza, mushrooms, spinach, and of course plenty of salad and pasta options.Dietary restrictions: They're really good about getting their orders right, just mention while you order.“

“Pizza was delish!!!! Thin crust was very thin but tasty! The only thing I would have liked to have seen was double the toppings but I understand due to inflation it’s probably not cost effective. Fries were fantastic too! Fresh and warm even by the time I arrived home from pickup. They also sell these cookies at the counter triple chocolate which were amazing! Will definitely return…5 stars! Staff were super friendly and place was clean.“

“Always have fresh and delicious slices during lunchtime hours. Pepperoni is quite popular so I advise to call to see if they have slices available before going. They can make a pepperoni pizza for slices by the time you arrive (15 mins)Also their lunch buffet is back open for dine in.“

“This is old school pizza. It’s very good. This is the type of place where you can throw the kids at one table with a pitcher of pop and a pizza while the adults drink pitchers of beer at another table. I miss old family restaurants like this.“

“A very good beef and sausage! Prices have increased $3 to $5 higher in the last two years. I doubt if they ever get lowered. Service is fast but no place to eat inside unless you want to stand at a counter. Outside seating is available but only 4 tables. It is purely takeout place. For a family of 4 your going to spend $45 to 50 for 4 regular beefs and 2 large fries.“

What can I say we were on a road trip ?Try and I believe you will enjoy their customer service and food.I will return during our next trip to Illinois.Parking: The Hoagie Place is sandwiched with other businesses and they all share the same parking lot which makes for difficult parking .“

“The dinner selections were varied and all looked delicious. There were options for light eating as well as a nice heavy meal. The food came out hot and everything tasted beautifully seasoned. Our server was delightful. The wine selection was not huge but it had something for everyone and we had a wine I had never heard of before. We will definitely be back.“

“The best pizza in all of Palos. My family unit indulges at this fine establishment at minimum of twice per month. They have an excellent menu for adult beverages and they have the friendliest staff. The owner is an artist. Every pizza he makes is perfect every time. He has been making pizza for several years and the consistent deliciousness really shows. We love the cozy atmosphere and all the great memories we create at this place. It is always a great time here!Parking: There is parking in the front and also in the back. You can enter through the back door.Kid-friendliness: They have the kindest staff and are super nice to kids.“

“Today we ordered a pizza and it was great. We opted for pepperoni instead of sausage and added mushrooms, olives, and green peppers. The crust was wonderful and reminiscent of neopolitan pizza with nice air bubbles and crunchy edges. The toppings were plentiful and fresh. It's nice to have a local pizzeria with a great product. Thanks Bambinos.“

“They have some of the nicest employees to take our orders and if you don't know anything about POPS, it's the best beef in my opinion in Chicago plus they have a great breaded steak sandwich. You just won't be disappointed eating there the dining area is small but any given time there's always tables available. If you need to catch some lunch or dinner POPS would be my choice.❤??“
