“On 05/29/2026, I had dinner with some friends who recommended Palermo’s on 95th. I’ve always wanted to try it, and I’m glad I finally did—it did not disappoint.
The food was excellent, and the service matched it. Everything came out great, and the staff was attentive and welcoming throughout the visit. It was an all-around enjoyable experience, and I would definitely go back again.
The only minor downside was the parking, which can be a bit tight, but that’s not the restaurant’s fault.
Overall, a great spot with amazing food and service—highly recommend.“

“We ordered spaghetti, meatballs and sausage, with garlic bread. The spaghetti was simply delicious. We were not w0wed with the garlic bread whatsoever! I would have put both more butter and more garlic . . . with the bread a little less toasted.“

“This location is literally right down the street from my house so I order from them all the time. Most people already know about Beggars pizza, which is delicious, but not everyone has tried their other food items.

The meat lasagna is absolutely delicious and seasoned to perfection; some of the best I've ever had. The portion is generous as is the cheese topping. It comes with a side of garlic bread which is also tasty. I usually get a garden salad to accompany the lasagna entrée and it is HUGE! It's enough for four people and at $5.25 it is very reasonably priced. I always get the creamy garlic dressing which is really good. I've also ordered the chef salad on one occasion and it is LOADED with toppings. It has, what looks to be, two different kinds of ham, as well as two different types of narrowly sliced cheeses (in addition to the shredded cheddar). One person could eat this days.

I've also tried the tomato bread which is also very tasty. The bread is topped with tomatoes and covered with mozzarella cheese and finished with a sprinkle of herbs.

Service is fast and friendly. Will definitely order from here again in the very near future. I highly recommend. Five out of five stars. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“

“I always go to the location in Oak Lawn and I always get the best service. They follow instructions and the pizza is always top tier. A couple months ago I made mistake of going to the Giordanos in Beverly. Worst mistake ever! I paid over $50 for a stuffed pizza and ordered extra sausage. The pizza barely had meat and was mostly cheese and bread. I contacted them and complained, they told me to send pictures which I did. They did nothing. That was my last time going there and I've been sticking with Lou Malnati every since. They never let me down!“

“We always get our lightly fried Brown's Chicken versus the Popeye's Chicken and KFC here. It really is your preference of of type of fry batter and chicken. Don't have any complaints for Oaklawn location. Everyone is friendly and professional and the food as in the chicken and mashed potatoes and biscuits are on point.

“We tried Gaia for the first time on Mother’s Day and were pleasantly surprised by how wonderful the entire experience was. From start to finish, everything exceeded our expectations. The service was fantastic; the staff was attentive, never letting our drinks go empty, and every course was timed perfectly.

The food was incredible, and every bite was delicious. The bruschetta was perfectly prepared, the Alfredo sauce was rich, creamy, and cheesy, and the chocolate fudge cake drizzled with strawberry sauce was absolutely to die for.

“Had delay on flight so my mom wanted to stop somewhere for food. This was the first place that we noticed was rated above 2. 😂 The food was solid! I had the Holy Cow Burger w/ fries and mom had the Sweet & Spicy wings. We enjoyed both.

Food cost was fair. ($20) As far as cocktails, I had the Mr. Tea and mom had the Paloma. Both were good. Cocktails were $23, but it is what it is.

“Our server Esmeralda was so fun and energized! Checked on us frequently! We had excellent fruity (happy hour) drinks and mozzarella cheese sticks for our appetizer! (They were served with a delicious warm tomato sauce! Approved! I'm Italian, so very picky about my pasta and sauces and don't usually order pasta dishes at Italian restaurants, for that reason! We both opted for the white fish entree, because a friend recommended it! Glad we did! (The generous fish portion was served with a delicate white sauce and sautéed spinach & grilled carrot slices!) Don't miss the whitefish!!! (I added a side of garlic & oil linguine; but l I ended up taking home half of my dinner! Excellent portion size! The room had enough light and was spacious; the tables were spread out~ in a good way... it was a Friday night and we did not feel crowded or rushed, at all! Because it was my birthday, we HAD to have dessert~ even though our bellies were full! Lots of dessert choices.... Thankfully, because I am not a tiramisu lover and that's usually what most other Italian restaurants offer! Our sever surprised me with a chocolate Dubai torte which really sounded good. We nibbled on it... It was crunchy and different; didn't love it, so we opted to add coffee and cannolis. Very nice firm shells, freshly made, and not too sweet... however, there were NO chocolate chips inside! I usually prefer mini chocolate chips on the outside ends, too, but definitely mini chocolate chips belong on the INSIDE of a cannoli~ for me! That would be my only complaint! “In 2017, I picked up my older brother at Midway to come home to the funeral of our youngest brother that committed suicide at 23 yers old. We swung over to Vito and Nick's to get a pizza and talk. It was our first time there. We ended up telling the waitress the situation because we had both been crying. Next thing we know, the kitchen had par-baked like 8 large pizzas of all types, and gave us a hand-written note giving us condolences and instructions on how to finish baking the pizzas. They said they wanted to make sure my family was well-fed in our time of tragedy ❤ And the pizza is INCREDIBLE ❤ SPECIAL, SPECIAL PLACE“

Met the owners/ daughter and mom. So very sweet and funny too. Our server was Candy. She was working very hard on a busy Valentine’s Day. I had the lasagna and I can honestly say it was the best lasagna I’ve ever had in my life! The ricotta filling was so whipped and light. It was just delightful and so delicious. “Where do I even start... The establishment is unlike anything I've experienced so far, the place feels magical for both kids and grown-ups alike. When you step in for the first time, it feels akin to a fun, fantastical experience coming to life. This place is a great experience alone, but trust me, it's best when visiting with some company; you could even bring your sister to this location. As for the staff, they know what they do and take their job seriously: they don't treat their job as some sort of pizzeria simulator. The pizza they serve is catered to your specifications, allowing you to have the ultimate custom experience any night. Don't get me wrong, this place is still prone to human error, but the staff is capable of providing help when wanted. Aside from the inevitable human error (and unsubstantiated rumors involving disappearances) the only downside is the lack of a warning when accessing the free wifi, if you do want to use the free wifi, just remember to use a VPN to prevent a security breach on your device. Personally, I reccomend it over any of the other copycat locations; I don't know the secret of the success of mimic locations, but having already patronized here for 5 nights, I know that I will always come back.“
