“The Pizza at Paermo's is super delicious, you will love it, its a classic, it even smell perfect. The restaurant is classic Chicago Italian joint, very retro inside. Feels like a place you went as a kid, I love it. There is a very large menu, the food is all pretty good, but its hard for me not to get the pizza. Service is really good, they are friendly and attentive. Price point is reasonable. I highly recommend the pizza!“

“I always go to the location in Oak Lawn and I always get the best service. They follow instructions and the pizza is always top tier. A couple months ago I made mistake of going to the Giordanos in Beverly. Worst mistake ever! I paid over $50 for a stuffed pizza and ordered extra sausage. The pizza barely had meat and was mostly cheese and bread. I contacted them and complained, they told me to send pictures which I did. They did nothing. That was my last time going there and I've been sticking with Lou Malnati every since. They never let me down!“

“I have to be honest before they have been good but I made a 2 good 2 go order and by the time I got there they were closed completely. I got off work and thatcwas my dinner now no dinner and a waste of gas out of my way. “This place is the whole package! From the second you step onto the property to walking in and the hostess immediately greeting you with a smile. Check in is seamless and reservations are withheld to the tea (no waiting). As you walk through the inside, everyone greets you. Celebrating a special occasion? Note it on your reservation and they have cute cards on the table wishing you the best. Alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks are prepared phenomenally and waitstaff bring them as they are done. Appetizers? Mozzarella sticks are cheese pull galore, mini meatballs are beyond with the crostinis, and let's just say you can't go wrong with the margarita pizza. Entrees that stand out have been the lasagna, chicken limone, chicken parmesan and pasta with vodka sauce (don't forget to add a protein). Additionally, there's a kids menu and it is truly kid friendly. Don't skip dessert! Whatever you choose you won't be disappointed. My personal favorite is the crème brûlée with a shot of espresso on the side. Only downside of this place is not knowing when we have something special to celebrate again so we can go back, maybe to even dine outside!“

“I recently dined at Gaia and had a wonderful experience. The garlic butter shrimp stuffed with crab meat was cooked to perfection, and the flavors were fresh and well-balanced. Our server was very attentive and gave us great menu recommendations. The cacio ee pepe is a must try, they cook the pasta in a cheese wheel at your table. The atmosphere was cozy, making it a great spot for a relaxed dinner. I will definitely come back!“

“In 2017, I picked up my older brother at Midway to come home to the funeral of our youngest brother that committed suicide at 23 yers old. We swung over to Vito and Nick's to get a pizza and talk. It was our first time there. We ended up telling the waitress the situation because we had both been crying. Next thing we know, the kitchen had par-baked like 8 large pizzas of all types, and gave us a hand-written note giving us condolences and instructions on how to finish baking the pizzas. They said they wanted to make sure my family was well-fed in our time of tragedy ❤ And the pizza is INCREDIBLE ❤ SPECIAL, SPECIAL PLACE“

“Absolutely the best Italian Beef sandwich on the south side, arguably the best in Chicago. The home made Giardiniera is also very good, with the perfect amount of heat. The sandwich is huge and the price is very good. Wish they had fresh cut fries. People working there are always nice. Small place, not a lot of seating, but has the old school Chicago vibe that I like. I live an hour away, but if I'm in the area I always stop in for a bite.“

Met the owners/ daughter and mom. So very sweet and funny too. Our server was Candy. She was working very hard on a busy Valentine’s Day. I had the lasagna and I can honestly say it was the best lasagna I’ve ever had in my life! The ricotta filling was so whipped and light. It was just delightful and so delicious. The staff including the chef were truly attentive(compliments to the chef), thank you for an amazing experience . They asked if anyone had allergies to start off too. Their food and drinks was delicious. I had their chicken Alfredo, my husband the gnocchi with braised beef & various of my family their seafood linguine and the flavors were bold and exquisite. Flavored shots were amazing and so was their dessert (my favorite was the banana pudding). I have a few family members who are picky eaters and even they really enjoyed it. I have worked in the restaurant business downtown and this place is better than some places ive had in downtown Chicago. Great for dinner & special occasions. 10/10 for everything this is one of our new favorite places in the area.“
