“I come here so often, I’d consider myself a regular but I’m too shy to really build rapport with anybody here.
Over in oak lawn, there’s not a lot of pho options to begin with but I’d travel the distance even if I didn’t live 10 min away.

I’m very simple with my pho and so my order usually consists of
-A small pho tai,
-maybe some chicken skewers,
-and a type of rice bowl.

The flavors of the broth is so rich every time and it’s consistent enough that I’ve probably been here over 50 times.

Today, I tried their classic bahn mi for the first time and it wasn’t my fav, the bread was a lil too crispy.

I almost gave the atmosphere a 3 but I actually think it’s really cute and quiet inside. And it’s right off the train so you can people-watch out the window.

The host on the other hand, told my sister that we had to move to a different seating because the seat we was sitting at originally is for more than two people. So we moved to a different seat. Two caucasian lady come in and sit at the same table we moved from and nothing at all was said to them. We later was told that we can seat ourselves, which makes this situation even more confusing. “We moved to oak lawn three years ago and this is by far the best pizza around. The dough, sauce, cheese and pepperoni is exceptional. We experimented with different pizza joints in oak lawn and believe me when I say they do not compare! This is definitely our go to spot for delicious Chicago pizza!!“

“I’ve been coming here for over a decade and it’s still the best place for Mexican food in Oak Lawn. The tacos always hit the spot and it’s got the best horchata around. Not to mention their salsa verde is my favorite! Every time I go there the servers are always friendly and their chefs are top notch. I hope they are open for many years to come.“

“This location is literally right down the street from my house so I order from them all the time. Most people already know about Beggars pizza, which is delicious, but not everyone has tried their other food items.

The meat lasagna is absolutely delicious and seasoned to perfection; some of the best I've ever had. The portion is generous as is the cheese topping. It comes with a side of garlic bread which is also tasty. I usually get a garden salad to accompany the lasagna entrée and it is HUGE! It's enough for four people and at $5.25 it is very reasonably priced. I always get the creamy garlic dressing which is really good. I've also ordered the chef salad on one occasion and it is LOADED with toppings. It has, what looks to be, two different kinds of ham, as well as two different types of narrowly sliced cheeses (in addition to the shredded cheddar). One person could eat this days.

I've also tried the tomato bread which is also very tasty. The bread is topped with tomatoes and covered with mozzarella cheese and finished with a sprinkle of herbs.

Service is fast and friendly. Will definitely order from here again in the very near future. I highly recommend. Five out of five stars. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“

“Did a staycation for NYE and had brunch at South Side Social. The mimosas weren't bad and the buffet was somewhat limited. I want to visit again because their lunch/dinner meal has some appeal. They provide the food for the bar and the pizza and Buffalo shrimp were very good! We had extra cheese on the pizza but it wasn't necessary as the toppings were hearty and tasty. No food pics this time but I do want to revisit.“

“It is a beautiful venue that I have had many champagne brunches at for the past 20 years. The food and service is great. I knock a star because the gratuity is gigantic. On top of that the waitress was demanding for a large cash only tip. I understand policies and working to provide for your family. What I don’t understand is since when are the workers allowed to think that they are entitled to your bank account?! When you act like that you don’t get any tip from me. Usually, I have exceptional service and tip. Maybe attitudes are why the gratuity is automatically sky high these days.“
