“The selection of drinks here is vast and on point. The staff is knowledgeable and is helpful with choosing the best option. In my opinion, the music area is a little DIY, but i love it. Artists fill the space with music!“

“La calidad de la comida aquí es horrible!!…21 dls por dos tortas de milanesa de pollo para que los frijoles secos y que ni el queso esté derretido. No vuelvo a comprar aquí. Taqueria Durango Restaurant“

“I am not exaggerating when I say this was some of the best pizza I have had in years. Seriously. I had not had pizza this good since the last time I was in Chicago almost a decade ago, and Beggars absolutely delivered. The crust was perfect, the sauce had a ton of flavor, the cheese tasted fresh, and every bite reminded me why Chicago pizza is in a league of its own. You can tell immediately this is not some average chain pizza spot trying to copy the style. This tasted like real Southside Chicago pizza made the right way. The location on 127th and Western completely lived up to the hype for me. After years of disappointing pizza almost everywhere else, finally having something this good again honestly made my day. If you are anywhere near the area and love pizza, do yourself a favor and stop here because this place is the real deal.“

“The lady who took our order was super cute; however, there was a teeny, tiny, itty, bitty communication barrier, so my nephew didn't get guacamole inside his burrito, but he did get sliced avocado inside instead, which, in my opinion, was equally delicious.
Starving, I ordered a steak burrito, and devoured the whole reasonably sized portion while listening to a concert blaring from the kitchen. The music choice seemed a bit hard judging by the ages and appearance of the two older ladies working there. I don't think it bothered anyone; it was just noteworthy.
My burrito was quite tasty, but the meat was super greasy. That's probably why they give you a lot of napkins.
I would eat here again.“

“I really wanted to love this place because I truly appreciate supporting a family owned business, and the atmosphere had that welcoming, hometown feel. The service was friendly, and you can tell this restaurant means a lot to the people who run it. Unfortunately, the food did not match the experience. Parts of the meal were overcooked and burnt (steak and pork chops), while other items (like the pancakes) were a tad undercooked. It seemed more like an issue with kitchen execution than the quality of ingredients.
I would absolutely come back if the cooking consistency improved, because this business has great potential and the kind of charm you want to support. Hoping they can make some adjustments in the kitchen this could easily be a local favorite with the right chef.“
