“Absolutely the best food around! Fast service, convenient location, and just amazing food. Spicy is ACTUALLY spicy! We ordered crab rangoons (perfect, not sweet, and crispy!), beef & Broccoli (good), general Tso's chicken (mildly spicy, a little bland, but still quite nice), Coconut chicken (really awesome, lightly breaded, crispy, mild spice that builds as you eat), BBQ pork egg foo young (just like childhood!), and chicken fried rice (lovely flavor, lots of bits of meat). Huge portions make it worth every penny!“

“Omg, this food was AMAZING! I’ll admit, I was a little nervous walking in because the lobby wasn’t very appealing—but don’t let that fool you. I got the 2-meat, 2-sides dinner, and wow! The meatloaf was tender and flavorful with rich brown gravy. The chicken thigh was juicy, and the chicken gravy was perfectly seasoned.
Now, that dressing—tasted like homemade stuffing, but I like stuffing if it’s cooked right and it was cooked perfectly! The sweet potatoes had just the right amount of sweetness. Honestly, this place has quickly made it to the top of my list of favorite spots to try again .

“In 2017, I picked up my older brother at Midway to come home to the funeral of our youngest brother that committed suicide at 23 yers old. We swung over to Vito and Nick's to get a pizza and talk. It was our first time there. We ended up telling the waitress the situation because we had both been crying. Next thing we know, the kitchen had par-baked like 8 large pizzas of all types, and gave us a hand-written note giving us condolences and instructions on how to finish baking the pizzas. They said they wanted to make sure my family was well-fed in our time of tragedy ❤ And the pizza is INCREDIBLE ❤ SPECIAL, SPECIAL PLACE“

“Was recommended this restaurant from a friend. The maple tree and did not disappoint. Made a reservation online easy. Their menu is awesome, simple and delicious. Crab cake was perfect! Our dinner was fantastic. We had trout and shrimp. They have the best banana pudding over crème brûlée. The coffee for an end cap was out of this world good!“

Chicken was not hot, and it was in a warmer, greens was okay, dressing was good, and everybody knows, cranberry sauce goes with dressing, the cup, was so small (1/2 teaspoon) extra one is quarter (they don't tell you when ask for it). pet peeve with restaurants stingy with condiments, food not being hot.Try it for yourself.“

“Wild Blossom Meadery and Winery was a really cool place to try something different. I had never really done a mead tasting before, so it was nice that the staff explained the options without making it feel intimidating.

The drinks were interesting, the space had a relaxed feel, and it was a fun change from the usual brewery or wine bar. I liked that there were a few sweeter choices but also some that were more balanced. Definitely a good spot for a casual outing or to bring someone who wants to try something new.“

“I was born and raised in Chicago. Thin crust tavern style pizza is my go to! I moved to Indiana and miss good Chicago pizza. I had Bartolini s shipped via Goldbelly last week. I am BLOWN AWAY!!! “This place is huge. You have a different section of bars for everybody country. Heavy metal mixes, they have upstairs. I guess you could go up there. And eat, they got party room.
When I went there, I saw a tribute Band morgan wallen and these guys were really good. Where are you placed to go?Even the hot sports and have a few drinks.I totally recommend this place“

The food is consistently delicious — from the perfectly crispy thick crust pizzas to the hearty pastas and sandwiches, everything is always fresh and flavorful. “They have the best cheeseburger in Chicago. I went there in 2012, and 2013 on Kedzie, and omg it’s the best. I used to live in Highland Indiana and I took public transportation which it was GPTC bus to Downtown Hammond, and pace bus from Downtown Hammond Indiana to Downtown Harvey Illinois, and pace 349 from Harvey Transportation Center to 111th and Western, and CTA Route #112 bus from 111th and Western to 111th and Kedzie. Well now since I finally move to Chicago Auburn Gresham with my fiancé, and now I live 15 minutes away. I take 79th Street bus from 79th and Ashland to 79th and Kedzie, and transfer to CTA Route #52A Southbound and go all way to 111th and Kedzie. I’m even more glad you guys reopened which I had no idea where you guys relocated at Thanks to my friend Tracy for telling me where it is. I went there with my fiancé Raymon. I’m so glad you guys are amazing, and the service was great too. I’ll be back. This place is even very affordable.“

“We have Been at Theo’s at least 20 times in the last 3 years. The first time was the best and last night was the last. Food was a lot better 3 years ago. The staff seemed like they cared about you buying the right or the best value, Last night we were ripped off. David was our server. Telling how great the specials were with out telling us the price. My wife wanted seafood not steak. So we ordered her the seafood crab legs, lobster tail and shrimp. Crab legs tasted like they were frozen for a long time, the lobster was Tuff. Shrimp was good in garlic butter. I had a steak. With mushrooms. Do your self a favor ask what the price for any specials . DON’T BUY ANYTHING WITHOUT KNOWING THE PRICE. SeaFood Special $175.66 Who the hell charges this for a pound of crab legs and a lobster tail? Never again! Buyer beware!“

I of curse had to have my lemon fluff cupcake, a pastry and who could say no to an apple slice. But the true treats are the lovely and kind ladies working the counter. I truly feel it’s not just because I patronize Wolf’s bakery - but they are genuinely kind and make you feel welcome. I love this bakery’s products and its staff. Happy Holidays!!“

“I really wanted to love this place because I truly appreciate supporting a family owned business, and the atmosphere had that welcoming, hometown feel. The service was friendly, and you can tell this restaurant means a lot to the people who run it. Unfortunately, the food did not match the experience. Parts of the meal were overcooked and burnt (steak and pork chops), while other items (like the pancakes) were a tad undercooked. It seemed more like an issue with kitchen execution than the quality of ingredients.

I would absolutely come back if the cooking consistency improved, because this business has great potential and the kind of charm you want to support. Hoping they can make some adjustments in the kitchen this could easily be a local favorite with the right chef.“

“Growing up in the Chicago area, especially on the south side, you EXPECT local pizza joints to be good. Lots of places that don't primarily sell pizza still have better pizza that you get in other parts of the country.

Though it's been around for a long time, as have I, I'd never tried Rosangela's prior to this time, and I'm here to say that I am a believer.

I tried introducing a colleague of mine to chicago pizza at a couple other places, and they did not impress him... Rosangela's did.

Just a medium special and a drink, but I will tell you that it's some of the best tavern style things crust pizza you'll ever have.

It's as good as your favorite place, and likely better.

“First time going there, the burrito was incredible tacos had everything on it most place just do cilantro and onion but they have the works the taco shell was like it was seasoned but it was just the way it was cooked I’m going back even though the burrito had a decent amount of meat I wanna order it with extra next time“

“Well, if they cook your food properly, it's not bad... however, if they don't and you need to send it back to cook it (not a fan of raw burgers 🤷‍♀️) and it comes back the same way... be prepared to not eat and pay for the meal anyway. I asked for it to be removed from our bill (over $100 total so not just a couple things) and they removed it after a small "fight" but literally charged us for a basket of fries cuz I ate a few fries off my plate, I guess. they don't take care of their mistakes nor do they care to make things right. Lost future business, everyone at the table was shocked.“
