“Was recommended this restaurant from a friend. The maple tree and did not disappoint. Made a reservation online easy. Their menu is awesome, simple and delicious. Crab cake was perfect! Our dinner was fantastic. We had trout and shrimp. They have the best banana pudding over crème brûlée. The coffee for an end cap was out of this world good!“

“We really enjoyed the bbq ribs and the sampler of chicken wings (small portions or tastes). Sauces were delicious (several to choose from - i likedthe house and spicy the most. Other options included a mustard, a vinegar based and one with horseradish). Ribs were tender and smoky. Yum.

Coleslaw was unimpressive and a bit sour for my taste. Other side we tried were fries - portions were large enough to share. We had basic salt and pepper, but there were choices.

Clean up procedures weren't clear so we left our trays on the table. We had given a tip though food was not served.

Tables were picnic bench style with chairs. Everything seemed sticky although regular cleaning was going on.

Sports bar style with a couple large tvs in place, adding to the noise. There weren't many people there but loud.

Ordering was a bit inefficient but we weren't in a rush. The customer service was really good though. Very patient and helpful.“

“Let me start off by saying, I rock with this place!! I’ve been going for years since the smaller location. The customer service on this experience was HORRIBLE!! I asked for extra sauce on my Jumbo tip and link combo, small turkey tip, and 6 wings ($55). When the cashier relayed the request to the lady who was preparing the food she got a real crappy attitude like I was asking for too much. I guess because they were almost closing. I asked her what she said and she went all off. “I wasn’t talking to you I was talking to her!” I asked what her name was and she refused to give it to me. No name tags present or I wouldn’t have asked. Then she directed me to the manager who was also preparing food for any concerns that I may have. I asked the manager Nivia Battle (I think that’s what she said) was she required to give me her name. She said no. Her attitude was crappy as well. Just negative energy behind the glass. Except for the cashier. I also told the that they need to improve their customer service and that I WILL BE BACK!! I have no complaints about my order at all. Food was great!!! They just need to get someone back there that’s actually going to do their job without being so nasty.“

“We typically love it here. However, we had an easily avoidable issue yesterday. The app only allows the "call ahead" for up to 6. We had a party of 12. So, we called the location to ask if they could accommodate a party of 12. We kept getting placed on hold by 3 different employees only to be told they can't give a time estimate until we are physically there (15+minutes btw of employee after employee). Okay, we pack up and head there. After arriving we are told they can't even sit the 12 of us together and it's a 1.5 hour wait. What a WASTE of OUR time. I understand the wait is based on the customer traffic. But if you guys know you can't sit 12 together, TELL US OVER THE DAM PHONE!!!!!!“

“This is a great BBQ place in Markham, IL. Not a fancy joint, but the food is delicious, the prices are very reasonable and the staff are efficient and polite. THIS IS A CASH ONLY ESTABLISHMENT! They also have lunch specials EVERYDAY from 11am-3pm. Can't say enough good things about them. And unlike my experience in Chicago at one of the well-known BBQ places on the south side, you don't have to wait in line for hours just to get in the door and then have staff be rude and disrespectful!“

“I was there on July 16 to celebrate my birthday. It was a party of five. The waiters name was Chase. He was very attentive. Oh my goodness the food was off the chain. I ordered the rib eye with a baked sweet potato and broccoli. That was the best broccoli that i have ever had. It was really cooked to perfection. So Chase saw that it was my birthday. At the end of our meal he brought me a birthday surprise. Thanks for making my evening special.“

“I ordered a Half Slab of Baby Back Ribs, 1/2 lb of Beef Brisket (burnt ends), and a small side of Mac and Cheese. The portions of meat were generous and well-seasoned, generously coated in BBQ sauce, making them quite delicious. However, the Mac and Cheese did not meet expectations and needs improvement. I was taken aback by the restaurant's size; it was quite small. As someone in a wheelchair, I had difficulty making a 360-degree turn due to the narrow waiting area. Despite this, the atmosphere was pleasant, filled with the enticing aroma of BBQ, and the chef was friendly and laid-back. Overall, I recommend Medley's BBQ and plan to return to try their Turkey Tips and Fried Chicken Skins.“

“First off, I ordered because Kevin sent me lol. I got the cheeseburger and a pupusa. The flavor was really good!

The only small thing I noticed was the cheeseburger was a little soggy, which might be because the toppings were on the bottom of the bun. Also, $10 for one pupusa felt a little steep. Maybe a couple medium-sized ones could make it feel like a better value.

But overall the taste was great! Just wanted to share some friendly feedback. Keep up the good work!“

“The first time I went in I ordered the three piece catfish dinner. It came with fries, coleslaw and corn on the cob. What I was surprised with was the packaging. It was placed in an aluminum tray and packaged so well that I was highly impressed. My food was prepared by the male chef. It was delicious. I was so impressed that I told my neighbors. The next time I ordered a lady answered the phone and took my order of the same first order. Her customer service skills were poor and the same order that I ordered before was a disappointment. The fish was not crisp and packaging was a plastic bag. The real cook who was chef that cooked my order should train the staff in their cooking skills. I haven’t been back. If a standard is set customers will be faithful and tell others about the food served and the quality of customer service.“

I’m from Dolton Illinois originally, but I moved when I was 13 and been living in Oklahoma ever since and when we traveled up to Michigan, we had to make a stop to crystals and it was absolutely worth it! I think the brussel sprouts were burned, so after a few tries, I gave it to someone else who thought the same. My baked potato was good. Maybe it could have used a little more sour cream. It was a bit dry. But the ingredients for the loaded potatoe were great. The shrimp appetizer was great. I wanted sooo bad to have the corn on the cob but I couldn't eat so much. The ribs were tender. I wish I could remember our server's name so I could give him a shout out because his service was magnificent. The atmosphere was very nice. I would definitely go out of my way to go here again and I would recommend it to others.“
