I love this black owned establishment. It is a winery and Meadery. I wish I had taken some pictures of the decor, but it is a beautifully kept space. Tonight was karaoke night. It was a lot of fun, the DJ was very interactive, and the crowd was Lively. The wait staff was very nice. They went over the drink options and the food options, and everything came out so fast. My first time here. The atmosphere was nice, the employees was nice and informative. I tried all sweet wines this time and I was impressed (being they’re made with honey) they were very good and refreshing. I can’t wait to see this place in the spring/summer for the outdoor seating area. Definitely a hidden gem that’ll I’ll be returning too.Oh, did grab a bottle of the Pirates blood. This one is spicy and sooo good.

Had an amazing time. The staff were super nice to me and answered all my questions pertaining to the cheese platter (I am lactose intolerant and can only eat aged cheese). Highly recommend Sweet Prairie!
