It was my first time at this restaurant, and it truly exceeded my expectations; the food was delicious, and Grace and the rest of the staff made my experience very pleasant. Thank you very much.
This was my first time there. I was treated for My Birthday! Our Waitress Esmerelda was Great! The Food also was Very Good! I will make My Way Back There. :)
My family was in town for a family wedding and wanted to order delivery on our last day in town. Each member loved their food. Everybody got a bite of each other's and the consensus is we will be back in Chicago soon and we plan to dine in next time!

Mattone is a neighborhood restaurant known for its solid Italian menu and friendly atmosphere. The spacious and more upscale interior provides a comfortable setting for casual dining. The menu features a variety of main entrees, including pizzas and sandwiches, with special dishes like creamy mushroom chicken Marsala often praised. Portions are large and well-presented, offering good value. The staff is attentive and friendly, with servers providing great suggestions and excellent service, although there was an occasional lapse, such as being forgotten once, which was promptly apologized for by the manager. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, especially during the week when it is quiet and perfect for a relaxed dinner. The restaurant offers plenty of free parking, making it convenient for guests. Overall, Mattone consistently delivers good food and service, making it a popular spot for friends and family to enjoy a traditional Italian meal in a comfortable setting.
