“I always really liked Rosiatis pizza, and would always order from here, but the past couple of times it didn't taste the same, and not in a good way. It was around a 2 month span when I gave it a 2nd chance and that was about a couple weeks ago. I don't know if the recipe changed, or a different pizza cook. “

“I had a great time at La Parra! It's located in Berwyn and has street parking that I had no trouble finding right in front of the restaurant. They're known for their creative cocktails which they feature on their Instagram page. The staff right away were super friendly and welcoming and our waiter did a nice job of reviewing their current special cocktail menu. I ordered the "mezcalito" I believe he called it, which was made with mezcal, lime juice, and fresh fruit juices (I know one was passion fruit!). This drink was amazing and so up my alley since I loveee mezcal and anything fresh and sweet. The overall atmosphere felt casual and comfortable. Tapas are on the menu so shared meals are encouraged. I ordered the chicken a la limon but I swapped the mashed potatoes for crispy Yukons. The potatoes were pretty good and the chicken was cooked well. I wasn't entirely blown away with what I ordered, but it was a good meal and the drinks and service were definitely 5-star worthy“

“It's always hard to write a review when you solely travel for one dish. Said dish has to be an amazing to justify the trip right? The "Pa" pizza was a nice detour from my normal Chicago destination for tavern style. The candied jalenos paired nicely but were a bit overpowering. It's worth mentioning that spice level was quite bareable also. Where dough lost a star was the other half of my pizza which was solely garlic & cheese. Crusty could've used a tad bit more "cracker like crust but a regular pizza from here was just that, Regular. Nothing worth mentioning at all. If I'm in the area, maybe a trip to Brookfield I'd indulge but going forward Chicago has some steep completion in closer proximity for za.“

“Thin crust crispy tavern style pizza!! I’ve had many pizzas and different styles, but this is the best I’ve had in a while. We had the pepperoni with hot gardenia peppers and for apps jalapeño poppers and sausage toasted ravioli. The pizzas are def made with love and had that PERFECT crisp bite!! “Love this deli so much I happily drive from Oak Lawn to get there. The Primo panini is my favorite but they are all top tier. Their canoli are quite possibly the best I have ever had. I buy two of their easter pies every year and my family goes nuts for them. If you haven't stopped in you are missing out big time. “Not around the corner from me, but definitely worth the drive. The pizza crust is the perfect amount of thin and fluffy with a slight sweetness to the dough. The crust is beautifully crispy and yet tender! Tonight we had the bruschetta mix which is a choice of 3 different bruschetta of our choosing. We tried the traditional, the caponata, and the Rockefeller. I really liked the Rockefeller which is a nice combination of spinach, Swiss and Asiago cheese. We ordered the Mediterranea Salad and it was so pretty. The salad was dressed well with just the right amount of sun-dried tomatoes and Kalamata Olives. I am not a personal fan of olives, but these had some really nice flavor to them. The pizza we ordered a traditional Margherita which was with a red sauce and the Biancaneve which is with a white sauce. Even though the ingredients were similar they tasted completely different and so good! I wish there was more cheese on both pizzas. They seemed weirdly dispersed so some slices only had a few 1/2 pieces. They do use fresh mozzarella in both these pizzas so don't expect to have that cheesy pull of shredded mozzarella. We sat in the side room which had a big screen on one side and there were music videos being played. Since the restaurant wasn't very crowded the music seemed really loud making it a bit hard to have a conversation. We were seated at the far end of the room, close to the restrooms and the music was still loud. The service was spot on. Our server checked back often, she gave us time to look over the menu and she didn't rush us as we were thinking about each course. Next time we will have to try dessert. The crepes sound delicious.“

“Sunday lunch was a wonderful experience for several reasons. The restaurant was open according to their posted store hours. A few years ago, this would have been a silly compliment. But these days, we have had several encounters in which we would arrive at an eatery and notice the doors are still locked even though it's past their usual store open hours. Needless to say, service was attentive, friendly, and efficient. Our party of six shared the smoked trout dip, calamari, charred pepperoni pizza, white mushroom and truffle pizza, Italian cheesecake, and tiramisu. The smoked trout dip is a tad high on sodium but I really like how it was served with flaxseed crackers. The pizza are served Romana style, therefore rectangular and fluffy. The crust is thin but with a crunch. Even better, they are half-price on Sundays!“

“Real gem of a deli in Willow Spring. Staff really efficient, focused, and friendly. Standard deli menu supplemented with creative options—Super Deluxe All-Beef Slim Jim sandwich anyone? I had an excellent shrimp and crab cake po boy (pictured) and my companion had the whitefish dinner. The place had a steady stream of locals—this deli is clearly a local lunch hot spot. And for good reason—good food and good value. Not much seating inside, but a decent-sized patio out back which will be great in warm weather.“

We ordered a few days prior and John was able to accommodate us in spite of the short notice.We had it delivered on time and with care. This weekend, during our adventure, we stumbled upon a pizza place with reasonable prices and a great menu. We ordered a Hawaiian BBQ pizza, but were surprised to find no pineapple chunks when we opened the box. Instead, they had blended the pineapple into the sauce, creating a deliciously unique flavor. As someone who is lactose intolerant, I'm always cautious about cheese quality since it can make me quite gassy. Luckily, this pizza didn't cause me any discomfort and paired perfectly with the beer we had. It really made our weekend special. Definitely give it a try if you have the chance!“

“Ordered for the first time. This is legit thin crust pizza and I'm a pizza lover who mostly stays clear of crispy/cracker thin crust. I'd give it a 4.5/5, the crust is delicious and very thin, but without the burnt/dry taste that you might fear with a crust so thin. Half sausage, half pepperoni. Good crispy pepperoni cups and generous sized sausage pieces distributed. I think I'd prefer a litt bit more cheese but I still very much enjoyed it. It reminds me a little of Marie's Pizza & Liquors in Chicago. One challenge to navigate with pickup is getting it home fast enough to eat while it's still hot due to how quickly it cools. Want to try it a few more times before giving it a 5/5.“

“We saw that Chicago's Pizza offered a Mickey Mouse for children that they could build themselves and decided to take our children so they could have the experience. For our ourselves, we got a deep dish pizza, thin crust pizza, and fried cauliflower. We were all pleasantly surprised by the quality of our food, which was very tasty (and we had gone only for the kids' pizza).They're focaccia was superb. Unfortunately, the restaurant sent us Mickey Mouse pizzas that were already made (not made by our kids). Other parents will understand how your dinner experience is affected when you've promised a 5-year-old something all day and then that thing doesn't come to fruition-it ruins your dinner. The staff were nice and accommodating, and they did what they could to help, including bringing out dough balls to make it seem to our kids like they were making the actual pizza. In the end, it worked. However, the dinner was a lot more tense than it should have been feel (and contentious amongst the parents). This is a situation that should've been handled by management. If the place is going to cater to children, there are the sort of things that it must stay on top off. Most parents can overlook a flawed pizza, but not a child crying over dinner.“

“I didn't expect much when we stopped in on a Sunday right around lunchtime and no one was there other than a few in the bar. We ended-up very pleasantly surprised as the menu was quite extensive and everyone could find something to eat. We had two people get personal thin pizzas and one kid burger sliders and one adult chicken Parm sliders. Add a few cups of soup and some sodas and we were set. “Didn't know this place existed. Always passed by but was going for some café con leche and a friend suggested we go here because they'd been there and thought it was good. They were not lying! So good that I ordered a 2nd cup! Ordered some appetizers and not the best ,but not the worst either. Columbian food in general is good and this place offers all sorts of items to choose from. We tried at least one of each of the main staple Columbian delicacies- pan de bono, pan de bono with guava , pan de bono con queso( our favs)YUM! And well, it's very very good, the baristas make good café con leche! . The best part, not only does their coffee and food menu offer a good variety, they are open until 9pm daily.. I stop in for coffee here at least 3/4 x's a week. That's how good the coffee and treats are. If you decide to sit and enjoy, the salsa music playing over the speakers will keep you dancing in your seat.. their staff are all attentive and very friendly ,making the whole experience nice. Tip, if you order any of the pan de bonos or empanadas, ask that they warm them up for ( they are alot better warmer. This place is a winner !“

“FlapJacks is a definite go to for wood fired pizza. Great atmosphere with canvas art and murals on the wall. Staff has an eclectic rock flare blaring in the background. Today's was a synchronousplay of team work from Paul and Tom as well as supporting staff. Tom made sure our order and drinks were place. He came around multiple times to ensure our request were met. Paul manned the wood fires oven. We requested our Grandma’s pie and Tavern style well done. A true master at his craft, he did not disappoint. Give Flapjacks a try, well worth the trip if needed.
