“I was in town visiting a friend of mine for the first time and he recommended this spot. We were warmly greeted by the owner, who showed us the beer menu and we were able to sit wherever we wanted. Thankfully the weather was nice enough for us to enjoy sitting outside on the patio. I tried a guest beer and a house crafted one and I must say they were both pretty good! I also treated me and my friend to some breadsticks and I super recommend them! The flavor and the crunch was perfect.

Honestly I couldn't have had a better time and you all should consider stopping by and enjoying the vibe and the beer. You won't be disappointed by the relaxed and fun atmosphere that has been created by the owner!”

“Our server Esmeralda was so fun and energized! Checked on us frequently! We had excellent fruity (happy hour) drinks and mozzarella cheese sticks for our appetizer! (They were served with a delicious warm tomato sauce! Approved! I'm Italian, so very picky about my pasta and sauces and don't usually order pasta dishes at Italian restaurants, for that reason! We both opted for the white fish entree, because a friend recommended it! Glad we did! (The generous fish portion was served with a delicate white sauce and sautéed spinach & grilled carrot slices!) Don't miss the whitefish!!! (I added a side of garlic & oil linguine; but l I ended up taking home half of my dinner! Excellent portion size! The room had enough light and was spacious; the tables were spread out~ in a good way... it was a Friday night and we did not feel crowded or rushed, at all! Because it was my birthday, we HAD to have dessert~ even though our bellies were full! Lots of dessert choices.... Thankfully, because I am not a tiramisu lover and that's usually what most other Italian restaurants offer! Our sever surprised me with a chocolate Dubai torte which really sounded good. We nibbled on it... It was crunchy and different; didn't love it, so we opted to add coffee and cannolis. Very nice firm shells, freshly made, and not too sweet... however, there were NO chocolate chips inside! I usually prefer mini chocolate chips on the outside ends, too, but definitely mini chocolate chips belong on the INSIDE of a cannoli~ for me! That would be my only complaint! We will go back to try the pastas! Buon Appetito!”

When there’s a crowd and the workers are yelling the order, especially when it doesn’t come out at once, causes a lot of confusion. If they yell out a name, someone will answer immediately.”

“I was at dinner on Friday and it was not very busy. There were a bunch of adolescent kids making a bunch of noise and being quite unruly. Management just ignored their childish behavior and it was not the best environment to be having a meal. They had intermittent loud speakers and were swearing without regard to all the customers in the dinning area.”

El día de hoy, martes 26 de noviembre, llegué a cenar a las 8:45 pm confiando en la información publicada en sus redes sociales, donde claramente se especifica que el horario de cierre es a las 11:00 pm. No obstante, a las 9:30 pm ya se estaba anunciando el "último llamado" para bebidas alcohólicas. Además, durante mi estancia, fui testigo de cómo dos familias fueron rechazadas para cenar por el mismo motivo: el restaurante estaba cerrando antes de tiempo debido a "la falta de clientes". Entiendo que puedan surgir situaciones operativas, pero considero que este tipo de decisiones impacta negativamente en la experiencia de sus clientes. Cuando se anuncia un horario de cierre, los clientes planeamos nuestras visitas en base a esa información. De no ser posible mantener el horario anunciado, sería más transparente ajustarlo oficialmente en sus plataformas para que las personas puedan planear con anticipación y, en caso necesario, optar por otras opciones. Por último, quiero mencionar que esta inconformidad fue compartida con nuestra mesera, quien nos escuchó con amabilidad. Sin embargo, creo que esta situación requiere un ajuste desde la gerencia para evitar malentendidos en el futuro. Agradezco de antemano su atención a esta situación y espero que se tomen las medidas necesarias para garantizar que su excelente servicio sea consistente en todos los aspectos. “After hearing about Omarcito’s from Triple D, we had to try it. The owner, Omar, is hilarious and has a great personality. He greeted everyone as they walked up and held genuine conversations. My husband and I ordered a few different items, and we were not disappointed. The ingredients are fresh and you could tell the meat is marinated because it was super tender. This place is a must!!”

“In 2017, I picked up my older brother at Midway to come home to the funeral of our youngest brother that committed suicide at 23 yers old. We swung over to Vito and Nick's to get a pizza and talk. It was our first time there. We ended up telling the waitress the situation because we had both been crying. Next thing we know, the kitchen had par-baked like 8 large pizzas of all types, and gave us a hand-written note giving us condolences and instructions on how to finish baking the pizzas. They said they wanted to make sure my family was well-fed in our time of tragedy ❤ And the pizza is INCREDIBLE ❤ SPECIAL, SPECIAL PLACE”

“I've visited Osito's Tap a handful of time, but now I definitely need to be a regular. I was here last night for their Preservation bourbon tasting. It was an enjoyable evening learning and tasting some great bourbon, plus a nice dinner menu created by Osito's Tap very own Executive Chef. I've missed out on similar tastings here before, so I was happy to make this one.

As for the bar itself, it's a speakeasy with a giant Mezcal menu. If you're looking for great cocktails, an easy going spot, and good company. Then this is a place to be at. Definitely a GEM in the Little Village neighborhood.”
