“Traveling to Chicago and searched for a highly rated sandwich shop to try. This place did not disappoint. Easily one of the best sandwiches I have ever had. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Will definitely come back when I’m back in town.”

“After Vesecky (bakery) in Berwyn closed several months ago, preceeded by the loss of Bohemian Crystal (restaurant) about a year earlier; we thought it was no longer worth the 3+ hr drive up to the Chicago suburbs to satisfy our Czech food cravings. We were wrong; as finding this little gem was such a fortunate happenstance. The cream of mushroom soap is wonderful, the breaded pork tenderloin excellent, the strudel addictive, the kolacky tasty, etc etc etc... And; they have jaternice, cream sausage, head cheese, etc. all of which is virtually non-existent in mid-north Indiana. This is the type of east-European ethnic deli/eatery that is becoming harder and harder to find; thank goodness we spotted it. If one enjoys Czech cuisine, this is a "must" visit.”

“We got a 16” pepperoni pizza and breaded zucchini. The total with tax and small tip was $33. Not bad and on par with other area pizza joints. This pizza was pretty good. Enough cheese and each slice had at least 1-2 pieces of pepperoni on it. The sauce was also pretty good. The only thing I didn’t like was the crust. Well it was don’t perfectly, it seems just a little chewy. But no where near enough where I wouldn’t get it again. I would recommend Duncan and Dada’s and would actually get the pizza again. My wife loves the breaded zucchini. The pieces were big, unlike other area places where it’s small pieces and all you get is breading. She said it’s her favorite breaded zucchini.We will definitely be back.Parking: Park in the front of the building I’m for easy access to pick up food. If you want to bowl, park in the back.”

“I tried Chai Yo Thai Cuisine for the first time today for lunch. It was pretty good, we tried the Red & Green curry which were both tasty and spicy. The Tom Yum soup had a nice taste to it as well lots of lime flavor and decent portion size for a small. The beef could be better kind of hard pieces, I think the chicken was better. Also the parking is street parking only. I'd recommend overall.”

“Nothing special about the dining area, but dining room is clean and the food is solid. I had the Double Cheeseburger Special which includes Fries and a medium Drink. Quality ingredients, burgers cooked perfectly, fresh shredded lettuce, tomato slices, dill pickle and mustard. Add your own ketchup or whatever. It's the little extra touches which can make a burger special. Donald's toasts the bun! Fries were perfect, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, and perfectly salted. My wife had the Gyros Special, and she loved the extra onions and the generous sauce. The meat is tasty, and the pita is toasted. Solid gyros! I'm eating in the restaurant on a frigid evening and while the dining room is not full, there is a steady stream of customers coming through. The young lady taking our order is friendly, courteous, attentive and unlike 90% of young people who work in food service! Donald's is a winner!”

“If they're out of slices (at 12:30 middle of the week), the counter will act like it's the most exasperating request known to man to ask.If I was out of something, I'd be at least inviting, maybe suggest something else.Or if you're getting asked so much, and something is THAT popular - put a sign up, but don't make your customer feel like they're a burden on you cause they want to give you money for a product.I made a large order a few days prior to that for a family dinner, and the food was great. They initially forgot an entire panzarotti that I had to drive back for, not even a smile, or an apology.Your food is good, but not good enough to treat people poorly. I want to give 3 stars, but the back of the house shouldn't suffer because the front of the house needs work. Do better.”

“I love a jollof and chicken plate that comes with a salad and side of peppers and onions. The jollof and chicken is different from other versions I’ve had, but definitely delicious! Fried plantains and fried yams were perfect. Love the murals, makes it so inviting inside. Hubby said the goat was delicious with a nice kick.”

“Love coming here on my lunch break the burgers are so juicy ? knock back a couple cold one, they always got a couple games on. Very cozy place ! The staff is great! Always coming with a huge smile and cheerful welcome! Ed is a Rockstar there ! The owner's are Great always accommodating to us best way possible. Definitely recommend it for guys night! “Came across this place by accident, and saw that they had a breaded-steak sandwich, which is really hard to come by, so I just had to try it. Ordered the 12-inch sandwich, thinking I'd be getting something smaller, but surprised to see that it was indeed a foot long. I liked the marinara sauce and melted mozzarella. Next time, I'll ask for sweet peppers as well. Got a small order of fries that were still generous. Will return to try their other sandwiches!”

“They have great Thai food and can make vegetarian and vegan dishes. The owner is very nice and a caring person. They can make your order to suit your dietary needs.”

“The best Czech favorites anywhere at real Bohemian prices! ( And trust this old Bohock, they're getting hard to find....) Rye Bread, Houska, Strudel, Fruit Dumplings, even Breaded Pork Tenderloin by the piece - all home cooked the way your Babicka used to make it. Call ahead for large or holiday orders to make sure you get what you need. The owner is very good about taking requests.”

“When you enter the Stella's place in the quaint strip mall right on Roosevelt and Mannheim, you wonder what it could be and how beauty relates to gaming. Well, the two sisters who man's the register and smiles are absolutely adores, patient and sisterly. I had some issues that were personal and used this space as a nice little getaway from the bustle of the day that can get me stressed and so bottled up. I had some issues with connecting to the service on the gaming console and they were eager to help, Denise and Tomika are true God sends. We had intimate conversation that made believe that the world could use more Stella's places around to be a home away from home while having a little fun. The drinks are cold and crisp just like how anyone would like it and you have a variety of cafe options to choose from. One of my fave games is the rocky game and it sure doesn't disappoint.
