“We had a large group just before lunchtime on a Saturday, and they were great about squeezing us in. Our server D was amazing, truly, and the other staff were helpful and attentive, too. The food was delicious, hot, fast, priced affordably. They have a large menu. We had some special diets in our group and there were enough options for them to find what they needed. I definitely would return and would recommend it to friends.”

“I drove to Brookfield from Toronto to spend a few days at the Galloping Ghost Arcade and my only regret is not eating more tacos from this place. This little spot right between the arcade and my hotel pushed the trip over the top into the best time I've had in my adult life. I dropped in at least seven times.

Tacos are my favourite food. I make tacos myself, sometimes by the hundreds for neighbourhood cookouts. The food here is fantastic texture wise. I loved the chorizo texture in particular. The flavours are subtle, but delicious. Get cilantro and add some of their salsa, maybe squeeze some fresh lime slices to really make it sing. Amazing prices and the service was great.. genuinely warm and friendly with proper attention to detail and no BS!”

“Back when I lived in the area, Irish Times had just opened and I stopped in to have a Guinness. Now, I have had Guinness all over the Chicago area and never has a Chicago pint ever approached the magical, otherworldly flavor of a pint consumed in Ireland. I don't know if it's the water, the proximity to the brewery or just some kind of strange magic that happens to Guinness in Ireland, but I've never had better. That all changed when I drank that first pint at Irish Times. It was easily the best pint of Guinness I've had outside the Emerald Isle. I've since left the area and have had pints all over the United States and Canada. Nothing has approached the quality, freshness and taste of the Guinness at Irish Times in Brookfield. If you are lucky enough to be nearby, don't hesitate to make a detour to the pub. You will not regret it.”

“Slager's is the best! We hosted our engagement party in the party room and had an absolute blast! The space was perfect for our group, the vibes were great, and everyone had such a fun time!

Jimmy & the staff were friendly and accommodating, prices were very reasonable, and the overall atmosphere made it such an easy and stress-free place to celebrate. Karaoke later in the night was an added bonus and made the night even more fun!

Such a great local spot just outside the city — highly recommend for group gatherings, celebrations, or just a fun night out!”

“Rose and Jake were phenomenal!! It was a tuesday and they were busy as expected but the service was amazing! Rose was busting her butt taking all the tables and making PHENOMENAL drinks, while Jake checked on us if Rose couldn’t and helped run drinks to us. We didn’t have to wait for anything despite the business, overall an amazing experience and both of them deserve a raise! Both were so friendly and personable that my friend and I have already scheduled the next time for us to come visit and have a few drinks!”

“Stopped into Sebastian's Ale & Whiskey House for a late lunch, and it was a great find. They have a large menu with plenty of options, plus some really good daily specials. The bartender was welcoming, attentive, and even pointed out where the specials were on the menu so I wouldn't miss them, which I really appreciated.

The atmosphere is perfect if you're looking to catch a game, with TVs throughout the restaurant. I was also impressed by how inclusive their menu is. In addition to a dedicated vegan menu, they offer a non-alcoholic drink menu with vegan, gluten-free, and lactose-free options, making it easy for people with different dietary preferences to find something they'll enjoy.

Overall, it was a pleasant experience with good food, friendly service, and lots of choices. If I'm passing through the area again, I'd definitely stop in for another meal.”
