“We took our 11 year old to celebrate his birthday at a restaurant with his name. He had a great time he got to play video games and git to meet the owner who told him his name is also Sebastian. The owner was so nice to my son and us. The food was great, the staff very attentive and very pleasant. Now let me tell you about the desserts they were so amazingly good. The churro cake, the cookie skillet and the warm chocolate brownie that the owner made for the bday boy was all fantastic. We will be coming back soon to try more of their food and drinks. This was our first time here and it definitely will not be our lasr. Thanks again for making it a little more special.“

“After hearing about Omarcito’s from Triple D, we had to try it. The owner, Omar, is hilarious and has a great personality. He greeted everyone as they walked up and held genuine conversations. My husband and I ordered a few different items, and we were not disappointed. The ingredients are fresh and you could tell the meat is marinated because it was super tender. This place is a must!!“

“This is one of my favorite vegan Mexican restaurants. Chef Patricia is so sweet. I almost always get the Carne Asada burrito but I’ve loved everything I have tried. The nachos & tacso are so good too. The peanut butter cookies are probably the best I’ve ever had. I love the chocolate mini Bundt cake.“

“Casa Yari is the best for vegan food in Chicago...hands down. The menu is creative, delicious and made with love. Yari is an amazing chef and human all around. Her staff, which includes her daughters, is very knowledgeable about the menu and can guide you on what to get if you're a first timer. Every dish is made to order so a little bit of a wait time is to be expected and well worth it. Be sure to check their website for updated rotating menus as well as some restaurant FAQs (i.e. they stop taking orders about 30 min before close) Heads up, brunch is busy so you most likely won't be able to grab your order to go but you are more than welcome to dine in at the bar if you're solo. He offered 2nd helpings (my only regret is that I did not indulge on that offer). Our meal was plentiful, delicious and presented beautifully! The bartenders cocktails (garnished w/ fresh flowers!) are pure elegance and his customer service skills are excellent! The drag show was a blast! “We were indifferent to Mora when it first opened several years ago. The food was ok but not great. We went back for the first time in years a few weeks ago and were absolutely delighted by everything. We returned on Sunday afternoon and continue to be bowled over inspite of the noisy laughter coming from a couple of women in a corner booth.“

All three times I was either on crutches or knee brace. They were so sweet they helped me with my food to car an even told me to pull up to place and they’ll have my order ready for me! Starting from the first day that we went to see The Elm we were treated with the upmost respect and professionalism. We had our ceremony in the Kensington room, and our reception in the Madison room. The atmosphere and vibe of both rooms was everything that we could hope for. The staff was incredible, the food/drinks were AMAZING, and our guests had nothing but positive feedback. Vegan birria tacos (made with perfectly seasoned mushrooms) were excellent, though I have to admit the consomé wasn't, unfortunately. But the vegan soul plate was all good. The fried hearts of palm were tasty and crunchy, the mac and cheese was creamy and not too heavy, the sweet potatoes were Thanksgiving-y, and the greens did their job.
